Announcing the Formation of the Better Business Bureau

Federalist Party is proud to announce the founding of the non-partisan Better Business Bureau. The Bureau was established with the goal of identifying the most active managers, researching the methods they use to enhance their productivity and profits, and helping to match them with active workers. Through these operations the Better Business Bureau will assist in retention by helping new players find jobs with active managers who will encourage them to grow in the game, while simultaneously boosting the productivity of all businesses through the dissemination of best practices and the increased visibility of active workers.

By conducting a very brief and narrowly focused preliminary survey of several General Managers in the eUS marketplace, the Better Business Bureau has already identified striking differences between the managers who could be considered "Active" and those who are "Inactive".

Some qualities of an active manager include:

*Private messages to employees to ensure their satisfaction and comfort with their job and the game
*Wellness and attendance related bonus programs for employees
*Tracking employees' performance improvements with appropriate pay raises
*Active monitoring of employee wellness and attendance with a focus on effective remedies in the event of deficiencies
*Active procurement of Raw Materials and a sense of timing for relevant RM markets
*Investment of profits into business growth rather than "lulz"
*Familiarity with international markets and currencies for investment and trade purposes
*Creativity, and a willingness to establish new trends in eSociety

There is no need to elaborate on the qualities that make for an inactive manager.

The Better Business Bureau will evaluate companies based on criteria such as these to determine a general manager's relative activity level. The Bureau will also engage in a significant educational effort through these evaluations, independent educational efforts, and possible partnerships with the NAU to disseminate the knowledge and best practices necessary to increase productivity. These efforts will target both general managers and workers to increase the productivity and game experience of both.

Working closely with the educational effort, the Bureau will also have an ambitious research mission to identify and appraise various techniques for improving company productivity, general manager and employee activity, and overall sales volumes and profits in various market scenarios. These efforts will further assist the Better Business Bureau in raising the overall productivity of the average eCitizen and the economy at large. The research department will also engage in efforts to track the conditions in various markets to assist eCitizen's in determining the right time and place to enter the market in cooperation with the educational effort.

The final primary mission of the Better Business Bureau will be the maintenance of an active player employment office. Following the criteria set by the research and educational departments, the Bureau's employment office will endeavor to identify active workers and match them with active managers. By saving both workers and managers the risks of the Job Market, the overall productivity of both would improve to the benefit of the national economy.

The Better Business Bureau will not operate for profit or for the gain of any political party. The goals of the Better Business Bureau are strictly limited to the purpose of improving the overall business and economic conditions of the eUSA specifically and the eWorld as a whole. The various departments within the Better Business Bureau will be funded if necessary through donations and, in extreme circumstances, a small charge for some services. Financing will be structured in such a way as to ensure no conflict of interest exists between the various departments and the integrity of their activities.
