Announcing My Non-Candidacy

Day 545, 12:50 Published in USA Ireland by Tyler Jenkins

With Congressional elections right around the corner, I have decided to announce that I will not be running again this term.

I have been disappointed with the way many (not all) members of Congress have chosen to handle our eNation's business. I've grown tired of all the political posturing, the lulz proposals, and the egocentric nature of many of our country's congresspeople. eAmerica deserves better than the constant bickering, personal mudslinging, and juvenile behavior that dictates much of what is actually accomplished within the halls of Congress. With that being said, I feel as though, at this time, I can do more good focusing on other areas that will benefit the eUSA and our allies in the future.

It is my hope, however, that this next batch of congresspeople will work to put this country first. I implore Congress to work together in the future and help ensure that our eNation is a leader in our world.

I also want to thank all of the people that have supported me over this past month. There is no doubt I could not have had any measure of success without all of you. I only regret that I was not able to accomplish all the things I had originally set out to do. This isn't to say I will not continue trying to accomplish goals that benefit this country or that I won't return to politics in the future, but at this moment I believe there are more pressing matters that threaten our stability taking place in the world.

As a final note, I will be endorsing a Montana candidate in the next few days.

Thank you again for all of your support and time.
