Second "OniMonogatari" Story Trailer

This week, the Monogatari anime launches its adaptation of Onimonogatari, eighth part of the supernatural light novel series or the eleventh book overall, with the story "Shinobu Time."

"Exstetra" RPG's Full Anime Opening Movie Shown in New Clip

Following a brief teaser posted back in June, developer FuRyu is now sharing the full anime opening for upcoming PS Vita/3DS RPG Exstetra. Dig the movie, which is accompanied by duo ClariS' song "with you," below.

Exstetra includes original character designs from illustrators Tony and Katsumi Enami. The full game is due out in Japan on November 7.

"Lupin III: Princess of the Breeze" Anime Special Preview

NTV has posted their preview for this fall's Lupin the Thir😛 Princess of the Breeze: Hidden City in the Air. The 24th TV special caper airs sees the titular thief up with Yui Ishikawa (Attack on Titan's Mikasa) guest starring as the sky pirate Yutika.

A Lupin III vs Detective Conan anime movie has also been scheduled for December.

Second "Encouragement of Climb" Anime Planned

Hanno City in Saitama Japan has a children's zoo. There's a noteworthy Astro Boy statue in its central park dating back to his anime series 20th birthday in 1983. And, and if you tour the city over the next couple of months, you can participate in a stamp rally based on Encouragement of Climb. Along with the promotion announcement came news that a second anime is in the works.

The moe mountaineering anime returns in spring 2014. Yuka Iguchi, Kana Asumi and Yui Ogura starred as a trio of school girls who discover the joys of the outdoors in 8-Bit's (Aquarion Evol, Infinite Stratos) first adaption of the Shiro manga earlier this year with B Gata H Kei - Yamada’s First Time's Yusuke Yamamoto directing.

Live-Action "Kiki's Delivery Service" Trailer

This spring, Ju-On and The Grudge director Takashi Shimizu shot the upcoming live-action adaptation film of Eiko Kadono's children novel Kiki's Delivery Service in Shodoshima, a small island of the Seto Inland Sea of Japan. Now, with the film set to open March 1, 2014, the promotion has kicked off for the feature.

In addition to 16-year-old Fuka Koshiba who plays the lead character Kiki. Osono and her husband Fukuo, the owners of Gütiokipänja Bakery, are played by Machiko Ono and Hiroshi Yamamoto. ki's mother Kokiri, who is also a witch, is played by 40-year-old actress Rie Miyazawa and her father Okino is by 42-year-old actor Michitaka Tsutsui.
