"Infinite Stratos 2: Ignition Hearts" Game Hits Japan in February

Infinite Stratos 2 is getting its own adventure game on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan, and this week's issue of Japanese gaming mag Famitsu reveals the release date. Infinite Stratos 2: Ignition Hearts is set to debut on February 27, 2014 in both limited and standard edition form.

Ignition Hearts features stress and ignition points for the series' heroines. The original story develops when ignition accumulates, but things go poorly during the passion events when the same happens with stress.

The limited edition will pack a super-deformed, cat-ear-sporting Charlotte Dunois figure, so look forward to that.

"Mikakunin de Shinkōkei" Anime Visual and Character Design Preview

This Sunday, Nico Live will be presenting hosting the cast of the upcoming anime adaptation of Cherry Arai's four panel comedy manga Mikakunin de Shinkoukei (Unidentified In Progress), about a girl living with an older sister, who, upon turning sixteen, find herself living with her fiancee and his sister.

Yoshiyuki Fujiwara (GJ Club) will direct the Dogakobo (GJ Club, YuruYuri) production with Fumihiko Shimo (Clannad, Infinite Stratos) writing, Ai Kikuchi (Blue Exorcist's second opening) on character designs and animation direction.

Relative newcomers with few if any major roles have been cast as the series' female leads.

"Saki Zenkoku-hen" Anime Scheduled for Winter 2014

Looks like moe mahjong anime will be returning sooner than some expected. The previously announced adaptation of the Zenkoku-hen/national tournament arc form Ritz Kobayashi's Saki manga has now been confirmed January 2014.

"Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment" Shows Off New Mystery Heroine

We caught a brief glimpse of Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment earlier this month. The PS Vita game sends Kirito and Asuna into the previously unexplored Hollow Area of Aincrad, where they meet a mysterious new heroine.

Though her name has yet to be revealed, new images give us a closer look at the mystery woman and her unique weapon.

Fall Anime Scientifically Ranked by Skirt Flashes

DaVinci is a monthly books and manga magazine, While it does have some cache, it also has an associated DDNavi site that has a "underwear shot" tag for its anime coverage. With the fall season underway they put some of their best otaku to work, going frame by frame, employing a strict set of criteria to determine which of the new series has the most shirt flashes. Basically it boils down the the skirt getting raised such that there's visible underwear

"Oneechan ga Kita" Anime Planned for Winter 2014

Here's another anime build around an weird domestic situation coming this January. Rikou Anzai's 2010 Manga Life series Oneechan ga Kita follows an adolscent boy and his scarily affectionate, older step sister from his father's second marriage.

The upcoming anime from Yurumates3Dei's C2C will feature that series director, Yoshihide Yuuzimi and character designer/animation director Takeshi Oda.
