And the best eRepublic country is

Greetings to all my readers,

Today we will look to efficiency of Erepublik countries. This is thing, which is very hard to count. In spite of that, I will try.

One of economic methods to count efficiency(success in transformation inputs to outputs) of DMU´s (Decision making units) like hospitals, banks, countries... is Data envelopement analysis. Through series of mathematical counts of linear programing we can find out the most successful units. The big advantage of this method is, that you do not need to determine weights, because it give each DMU weights, which are best for them. As inputs I choose number of active citizens, number of citizens in allied countries and for outputs number of weapon a food bonuses, which country had. It is logical, that country with more citizens and more allies need to had proportionaly more bonuses to achieve effectivity.

For this first article I prepare chart of the most efficient erepublik small countries, table of reference countries for those, which are not efficient and possibilities of increasing effectivity on example of Netherlands.
I decided to divide it, because I have only demo version of program equipment, which can count it for max. 50 DMU´s and there is 70 countries in our eworld. So let see countries with less then 1000 active citizens without countries, which do not have any bonuses. (All data for 1st measurement are from 1.3.2012 and all for 2nd from 15.4.2012. I plan to update this article every month and half.
I realize, that situation in erepublik are changing day after day. Now it presents immediate efficiency like when cops measure immediate speed of car, where you do not know his speed before 2 hours or after 10 minutes in spite of it give you valuable result of measuring. Of course after more measures, we can talk about long-term efficiency.

Ok, so finish boring part and let see the best and most efficient small erepublik country:

1. Cyprus (score 1)
2. North Korea (score 1)
3. Slovakia (score 0,93)

Of course analysis give recommendations to improve effectivity too. There you can see example of Netherlands from first round. In this time they need to increase food and weapon bonuses by approximately 125%, which means one more region to gain effieciency like their pattern, which was in this time Slovakia. All recomendations for all countries I cannot include to the article from length reasons.
