And David rose up..

The picture above, drawn by Osmar Schindler, and the title of the article speaks for itself. For those who were a bit late to the history class, there goes a story, or rather as some would call it history, that has been a testimony to the fact that the word 'Hope' is a Gem among the Human emotions that draws beings of all shape and size a step closer towards their ultimate glory and a beautiful destiny.

The thorny path might not be an easy one. At times we might find ourselves at the helm of Darkness or what others would perceive to be "Doom". But instead of falling to the tricks of Loki and becoming a prey to the beast named "Nihilism", all we ought to do is remind ourselves of the path we have walked, the time we have forged and the dream that is worth living and dying for.

End is never near; And what could have been a better example than the anecdote of a young shepherd named "David" bringing down the mighty armored "Goliath" with a sling and handful of stones. A folklore probably taught to every child, that forms the very foundation for the coming of age and facing the reality.

The reason I wrote this philosophical crap is because I came across an article written by our CP that can be read here

If I was to look back at my past experience and give a personal opinion, then to be honest Croats have never stuck to their words. They are just being themselves and it's a trait that I doubt they will give up any time soon. No point complaining, no point expecting.

As of us, we need to move on, we need to give up the old EDEN mindset i.e. damagehood and stick to the allies who have stood tall by us during our worst times..Fought for us, Helped us..No matter how 'weak' or 'strong' they are in terms of their Military Prowess and Global domination.

For history has been a witness of the tides turning their direction and 'weak' Davids emerging against the 'strong' Goliaths..

Don't give up hope. We need to keep looking for new avenues and maintaining a good relationship with the "Real" old friends.

If that doesn't help, then we need to seek new friends, prove ourselves to our old as well as new allies and stop repeating the same mistake that we have been a victim to, and subjected to by our old allies turned foes. Hypocrisy bites you back.

For you never know, when the Future beckons..

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
