Analysis of Portugal, Asteria & Sirius

This is my last analysis with the old divisions system.

Although this is the first article I write in English, I have been publishing this analysis for almost a year. Most of the times the subjects are the Portuguese Military Units and comparisons between ePortugal and eSpain.

In these articles I make an analysis of selected data from egov. The objective is to get a notion of how strong are our MUs and our country. For example, we know that Portugal have 7 players in the DIV1 TOP50, by strength, and many in the way. In DIV2 TOP50 we have 4 Portuguese players. But I also want to know if these top players have an impact in the overall numbers.

The data was collect in the day 16 of February of 2014 and take in consideration all the players present in egov.

Are considered as Active players the ones who trained in eDay 2273, having egov has source.

The total and average values only include the players considered to be Active.

The values of influence per hit are estimates based on average values per player. So, when we see the field "Influence" in a Average table, that's the average hit with q7 of a player from that country and division. In a Division table, that's the sum of all hits. Meaning that it corresponds to all the players from that country and division to do 1 hit with q7.

The ‘+’ column represents the daily grow of the column in the left to it.

General Data



Average



We can see that Portugal, by comparision with Asteria and Sirius members, has one of the smallest communities, with only 876 active players. Only Slovenia with 818 active players and United Kingdom with 537, are smaller than Portugal

When analysing the total amount of Influence only UK have less, with 2/3 of Portugal total Influence. Portugal total Influence is equal to 3/4 of Slovenia.

Many of portuguese players from DIV4 have Argentinian or Serbian citizenship, so that have an impact on the total amount registered.

DIVISION 1



Average



In the Division 1 Portugal is extremely strong for the number of players the country has.

The strongest country in Sirius is Spain that has the same amount of influence than Portugal, but with almost twice the number of players. In Asteria, only Argentina is better and Serbia equal.

Putting in perspective, Portugal Division 1 is twice as strong as Poland DIV1, with 1/2 of the players. The average Influence of a DIV1 portuguese player is 2.132, by far much more than in other countries.

DIVISION 2



Average



As in Division 1, also in Division 2 Portugal is better than every country in Sirius, besides Spain that has the same amount of Influence. In Asteria, only Argentina and Serbia have better total numbers, because of the number of players (between 2 to 3 times the amount of portuguese players). The diference to other countries in Asteria, like in Division 1, is giant.

And like in Division 1 Portugal is extremely strong for the number of players the country has. The average Influence is the biggest by far.

DIVISION 3



Average



In Division 3 the difference between the amount of portuguese players by comparasion with other countries is massive. But again the better quality of players helps to improve that disadvantage. Portugal and Argentina have, by far, the better averages by influence in DIV3.

Portugal Division 3 is much better than Slovenia, that have the same amount of players, and UK. And it's almost equal to USA, Turkey and Croatia. Countries that have much more players.

DIVISION 4



Average



In Division 4 the small amount of players in Portugal gives it a position close to UK, in terms of total Influence amount.

Other effect is that many of portuguese players from DIV4 have Argentinian or Serbian citizenship, so that have an impact on the total amount registered.
