An open letter to eCroatia from The eSwedish Government

Day 1,189, 06:01 Published in Sweden Norway by Ministry of Foreign Affairs

This is a direct response to eCroatia, due to the rumors circulating about our country and yesterday's official article released by your Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

To our eCroatian friends and long-time allies,

I write this on behalf of my government and the people of eSweden. Your country and ours have been steady allies for a long, long time and we have never done anything towards you that would suggest that we want this friendship to end.

You, and citizens of many other countries, have been fed lies about eSweden. Both through media and high-ranked leaders. I am adressing this specifically to the entire eCroatian community, since it saddens me to see that even your MoFA now labels eSweden as a member of NWO.

We're not a member of NWO. No more than you are.

It's true that a few (and I mean few) individuals from other nations have approached us about joining NWO during the last few weeks. I know, for a fact, that the same has happened in eCroatia but for a much longer period of time. Our policy has been crystal clear on this matter right from the start: we're a founding member of EDEN and we do not wish to abandon any of our friends.

I have been the president of this country since 5th november last year. Trust me when I say that I ought to know exactly where eSweden stands and what our foreign policy looks like.

Yesterday, I was asked to sign a MPP by your MoFA, Atea. This is how she phrased her request:

"Croatia would like to sign a MPP with Sweden. We lost core region and need your MPP for defense and to continue freeing eBiH regions with our MPPs.

I would appritiate a prompt answer."

I'm not sure what you would read into those words, but baring in mind the attitude towards eSweden in yesterdays MoFA article, I'll let you in on how I interpret that message. First of all: this was not a question, it's a demand. More on the likes of a direct ultimatum (more on that later) and one might even call it a threat.

I can not remember that I've been asked for a MPP renewal since our MPP expired, a month or so after we decided to crush the PTO in Denmark (which was caused by exile-Croatian multis). Naturally, I therefor assumed that your government no longer wanted us to have a MPP. I want to point out that there were no hard feelings from our side.

We're not a big country and we're not as rich as larger nations, so naturally, we've been trying to keep our supply of MPPs to a minimum to save up som Gold when the world economy started to collapse all around us. We're also aware that there are more powerful nations that might be able to give you better support on the battlefield, such as Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, USA ... and the list goes on. We wouldn't likely get your support in our battles, since you have Servia to think about. Like I said before, there were no hard feelings from our side and I figured that future governments might be more willing to sign the MPP with us again.

Regarding the accusations that we're only allied with NWO countries, I beg to differ.

It was only recently that our MPP with Bulgaria expired. We're in the process of renewing it. USA expired recently and although I'd like for it to be renewed, I had to nag about it the last three months so this time I figured that if they don't approach us about it, we'll just let it be since they clearly aren't interested anyway. Last week, I've also sent messages to eGreece, asking whether they're interested in signing a MPP with us, and I'm still waiting for a reply from their president. It is quite likely that we will sign your MPP as well.

Spain and Poland are not just NWO to us - they're also our friends, just like you guys. It would've been much different if we had signed MPP with ex-PHOENIX countries such as Serbia and Hungary. We have not signed MPP with any country outside of the ususal EDEN line-up. With impeachments going on and other uncertainties within the various communities, I don't wish to alienate countries that have stood by us in the past based on which agenda their current governments have set up.

We've seen alliances come and go throughout the years but we've never turned our backs on those we consider our friends.

I therefor ask of you not to put blind faith into the words of others, who accuse Sweden of being NWO, based on nothing but ignorance and/or bad intel.

We did not create this turmoil and diplomatic chaos. We did not choose for Poland and Romania to start fighting like small children, for Panam or NWO to be founded or for us to be falsely accused of plotting against EDEN. We did not choose for any of this to happen - in fact, I think it sucks that it did.

The people of eSweden felt forgotten and dishonored by previous EDEN HQs. This caused a rift between us and EDEN.

For example, we waited patiently for more than 4 months to get a clear sign from EDEN to let us start our war against eGermany towards the end of last year. For half a year straight, eSweden (as founder) had no member in HQ. We're one of few countries who have always payed the fees to the EDEN treasury. We let other countries occupy some our core regions without reimbursement for more than 3 months, in order to help out in a large-scale EDEN operation. We kept postponing our own wars and fought almost exclusively in Romania and Croatia instead.

All we ask is that you try to look at our current situation from our perspective.

In eCroatia, you have an endless supply of wars to fight in. Almost every week you may participate in direct attacks launched by your own military against other nations. Your wars against Serbia and Slovenia are never far away and I can see why you would enjoy to continue fighting them. Whenever the tide turns in favor of your enemy, you get full support from EDEN. Long before NWO was even known to the public, your country had been asked to become a member due to its strength and strategical location. Other nations treats you with respect and eCroatia has the power and authority to set the agenda in EDEN, should your leaders choose to do so.

In eSweden, life is quite different.

First of all, this country lack the strength to attack powerful nations such as Serbia or Slovenia (which your MoFA sees as, quote, "training exercise"). As eSwedish citizen, you won't get the same support when your regions are attacked and you would actually be happy if the military can attack another, equally small country, once every second month or so. While NWO asked your eCroatian friends to join, your nation wouldn't even be considered as a potential, though inferior, second-class member for months to come. In foreign media, American, Finnish and other places as well, you would suddenly start reading anti-Sweden propaganda based on rumors of whom your president socialises with in unofficial IRC channels. If your leaders wanted to fight a war, they would have to do it without EDEN support since that support would most likely be requested for more important battles such as, for example, Northern or Southern Great Plains.

During the past, when Sweden had a much larger population, we assisted you unconditionally in your wars.

We helped you reclaim your lands, rebuild your nation and stood up for you whenever you needed our help. If you called, we would answer. Ask your seasoned players if you're a new player - I promise you that they remember Sweden back then as a good and reliable ally. Gradually, we became weaker... and as our military capacity started to fade, so did the memories of what we had helped others achieve in the past.

As much as I dislike the politics involved in the MPP demanded by your MoFA...

"eSweden should be the fourth joined member of NWO. We can see by their MPPs and orders of the Ministry of Defence that although they are member of EDEN they are prone to the NWO. Today we have officially requested the signing of MPP with us to defend our region and assist in the liberation of eBosnia and Herzegovina. If eSweden does not agree to the signing of the MPP they will be in direct violation of EDENs membership contract." - (Atea, Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, posted yesterday)

... I choose to see it as a perfect opportunity for me, my government and our congress to reach out a hand towards the eCroatian people once again and tell you what your MoFA seem to have failed to mention (or forgotten).

And as for our "orders of the Ministry of Defence" they've been set to fight against Lithuania, considering the fact that we have a training war with them. This does not involve anyone outside of Sweden or Lithuania - especially not NWO.

We're also free to decide who we sign MPP with. I know the EDEN treaty inside and out - but that doesn't matter. It's not the lack of truth in that quote above that matters - it's the way it plays right in the hands of those anti-Sweden individuals who try their best to make us look bad and not trustworthy.

Let it be known that when this MPP passes, it wasn't because we eSweden felt threatened to sign it by an ultimatum from your MoFA and other high-ranked leaders within EDEN...

... we voted the way we did because unlike some, we honor our friends and regardless what happens in the future, Swedes never abandon a friend in need.

Truthfully yours,

Valnad
President of eSweden
