An Official Apology

For my absence over a long period. I've had trouble accessing the internet and Erepublik especially. Seems my computer is better now but I wish to apologise for not letting you all know in some way. I've had these internet troubles coupled with several deadlines to meet on my course and at work. Along with having my wife's parents round for the weekend. (Fun! 😛
)
Now it would seem that I have lost everything in my SO account. (300 Gold) which has vanished into thin air. Now I've decided to use this as a fresh start. I will be moving back to my home in Erepublik (Northern Ireland) I have made good friends across the border and have earned a few here as well. I'd like to thank you all for being hospitable towards me and wish Ireland all the luck in the world.
It annoys me that because of issues out of my hands I've let people down. Though I hope you all understand that I have other things that must come first.

Tá brón orm. Ní leor seo. I appear to be the only one who finds this rather shoddy treatment. I understand internet issues, and being busted, but is bothers me that you obviously never intended to stay in Ireland. Just there for a bit of a holiday, I suppose. No worries, but why would you get so heavily involved in the government? Why would you not tell someone of your intentions so preparations could be made? You are a very capable player, no doubt, but frankly, I would prefer someone with less capability and more consideration for others.

As would I. Ireland deserves better and if I'm not giving my 100% effort then my capabilities are meaningless. I apologise and yes it is shoddy treatment.
What you say is 100% true. It was inconsiderate but I certainly wasn't here for a bit of a holiday. I was here to try improve a country I'm fond of and have in the past put alot of effort in. So much it effects my studies, work and life in fact. Sometimes I have to be inconsiderate I'm afraid.

Most of my friends that I've gotten to know in Erepublik are obviously from the country I learnt my trade. I simple want to play Erepublik with them again to relax. I have met up with some of them IRL and they are a sound group of people. It's my eHome. Selfish yes it is but Ireland needs people committed to eIreland. You guys have that here and you will be grand without me.
I know what I do is inconsiderate to a nation that has welcomed me with open arms. Though like Fionn before me I feel more at ease elsewhere right now.
