An Italian in Iran

Day 618, 15:24 Published in Iran Italy by hihaoden

My first days in Tehran reveal themselves quite complicated; mosques, markets, the language and hot iranian chicks are just the first factors that induce me in a state similar to "Lost in Traslation", lost and somewhat annoyed.

But let's go back from the start; I decided to leave Italy right after the Croatian TO.
It was pure chaos; I woke up with the sounds of a thousand gypsies taking over every single government building, national television transmitting in a weird and funny language, road sings totally changed, pure anarchy.

Life was unbearable,so I bought a ticket (one of the few ones left) and ran to Fiumicino Airport; it was pure luck that I got out of there alive, there were croatians on the Comm Tower handing out fake or wrong coordinates for landing/take-off.

I decided Iran because it was far from the old continent, it gave ecitizens and opportunity for a fresh start with the citizenship program and ,also, Persia has always fascinated me!
But I know very little of its history, its istitutions, its language (I cannot read/speak farsi) so what I ask to my new fellow iranians is to give me a little hand in making my stay productive/pleasant as possible! Tell me everything about your country!

Grazie!
