AN IRC GUIDE TO THE FUTURE!

One of the biggest ways of communicating with other eRep players is IRC.



One of the easiest ways to access IRC is Mibbit.



In the rest of this article i will show you how to access mibbit and make a nickname, and how to register your nickname.

First you must go to mibbit or any other host of your choice. (I will use mibbit for this guide)

After you get onto mibbit you will go to the homepage.


Then you need to pic the irc webric you want to use (most of them are Rizon)

Then you must put in your nickname and channel name (I will provide a list of popular channel names at the end)

After you picked rizon, your nickname, and the channel name you are ready to go! So guess the next step you hit GO!!!

After you hit go you should be brought to a page looking somewhat like this>



You are free to talk to whomever you want. If you plan to use IRC frequently or even have your own channel i suggest that you register your nickname.

First you will type /msg NickServ REGISTER password email
Example: /msg NickServ REGISTER mypassword you@validemail.com

Then you should receive a conformation email soon after that! So really there is nothing to it!
