Join the new world

Hello, citizens of eIsrael.
I come to you today not as Sidewinder, President of eIsrael, but as Sidewinder, a person, a citizen. A personal article by Tomer, giving my most honest point of view about the latest subjects. Hopefully you would understand my point of view.



First of all, a few updates regarding the agreement. Yesterday we sat with inci officals and discussed the option of changing the agreement from NE war to RW wars, funded by auctions. Inci obliged to our requests and it was agreed that we will auction one RW (starting today at 02:00 erep) and they will auction the other two. Also, the MPP with Cyprus has been canceled due to reasons that cannot be published (not only the SM story, which will be discussed later). Inci has proved themselves as true partners for peace and stabillity after cooperating with our requests to change an agreement that was already sealed.

The Agreement
The situation that we were in was not ideal. it was not right either. Facts were- we lost. inci won. Inci was more powerful, better organized, well prepared. I had to deal with what I had, the tools that were at my possession. They were not many- we were outnumbered, and outgunned.

Diplomacy was not my first idea; we had a big RW prepared, with tanks and military units from all around the world, alliances ready for our call. but as I spoke to several wise and experienced players and friends throughout the world, I came across the same response: eIsrael is not yet prepared to liberate herself. My initial desire to fight our way to liberation and the revenge emoticons had to make way for logic. Are we to keep our “pride” or make moves to get our country back for minimal loss? I saw people around me running out of money. People started spreading through the world, impatient of waiting for liberation. We had to act and decide quick.

Now, I would like to make something clear- There is no right decision or wrong decision. Two different choices, with two different outcomes. I decided that it is better to gather ourselves and get our resources that were loss during the war and the diaspora so we could make sure that we wont lose again. So we brought stability to the area, quiet. Peace in the middle east!

And the MPP itself? It was a diplomatic gesture, a token for the change in the relations of the two countries from enemies to friends. No, not brothers, not BFF’s, not yet allies- but friends. For those with fear of commitment- no strings attached! The mpp would have guaranteed both sides quiet for a month, as a MPP is stronger than any word.

The deal was a hard decision that I did not want to make, but had to. I do not expect everyone to agree nor understand, only to respect. A Jewish person in an unbelievably hard, tragic position once sai😛 “ My calculations are not made in the best of the Jewish Pride, but for the Jewish Blood. “

Note: The deal was signed before the economical module changed and allowed occupied countries to sell and buy in their markets. But a deal is a deal, and a man without his word, has nothing. Just add that to the big list of eIsraeli misfortune cause by sudden admin changes.


Cause after all, we recieved the greatest reward possible.


Sayeret Matkal
This was a hard subject to deal with. I did not expect such resistance from Eretz, especially not from those certain people, who some supported the agreement before it was signed. I was personally very disappointed from several individuals inside Sayeret, some I considered as friends. Such an act, both the decision to present an ultimatum to the government and the decision to make it public and so populist was disrespectful, and shameful. Since when a military unit, that along with everyone else failed to defend the country (Ofcourse it is not their fault, but you get my point) goes against the government when she makes a deal to get back their regions in a way that works with minimal loss? And since when a military unit, as elite as it may be, allows herself to involve inside politics in such manner? Only in Israel, as the sentence says.

I find it ridiculous that all of the RW medals go to Sayeret members as a tribute, they go and perform such an act. The real shame is right here. If not for Sayeret’s vitality to the security of the homeland, they would be punished and would receive no supplies. But it is clear that we depend on Sayeret very much, even too much. Just days ago I stood for its members claiming that they will never leave Israel and care about the country to much to do so. My disapointment does not come from coming out as a fool, but for being proved wrong about the people I considered as friends and brothers. It seems that the subject of not being under the command of anyone proved risky. I should admit, I have expressed great desires to join Sayeret for a single reason- it’s respect. Obviously that have changed. I’d hang around with my brother in arms who I trust... the “New Loyalists”.



Defected Mentallity
This subject bothers me much. It is one of the greatest core issues here in Israel. It is the faulted, twist perception of people around here.
First of all, the aggresion. it seems that people do not hold enough brains to see the clear situation- Israel is yet to be a military superpower. People cry to attack everything that moves, and if something does not move they cry to move it and then attack it. I hoped that at least the war with inci would serve as a wake up call- I was mistaken. Twisted mentality remains.

Another subject is the matter of criticism and inner fights in Israel. Mostly by RL Israelis, alot revolving around FXP, the home field of some individuals. It seems that some people’s joy comes not from helping to build the country, but bash at the people who do. It is not criticism- criticism is always welcomed -, but flaming for the sake of flaming. For the sake of pointing your “enemies”, or, opposition, wrong, at any chance you have infront of everyone. A lot of times those people give up reason and leave their brains behind only to try to get the upper hand- whether its cause of jealousy, disappointment for not getting parts, personal issues, fun, or just for the sake of saying “ I told you so”. And most of the times, those folks have never done anything for the country they love to criticize. But they do think that their leaders work for them.

Another subject I would like to refer to on this matter, is the mentality of personal profit, placing your own best before the country’s. People who tried to sell Joe tanks at overprices during the war, people who in war times move for other countries for bonuses, people who moved to other countries during the last week cause they care more about developing themselves rather than helping to develop the country. People who have lots of companies yet are to cheap to use their own supplies so they come and ask for supplies, denying supplies from younger players. I think it is clear what is wrong with that twisted perception.

Last Term, Next Term
Surprisingly, I would sum my term as successful. When it comes to matters that were under my control- I acted better then I expected. In all sectors, I believe my actions speak for themselves, but I do not wish to prove myself for anyone at the moment. I managed to live up to almost all of my platform goals, with the goals that were yet to be completed being under alot of work. I, willingly, invested alot of time and personal resources this month- for the best, I believe. I think this was time well spend, and results are showing, on all sectors.

I will not run for CP again this month. I’ve had my fair share of the flame, and recent developments took every small bit of desire I still had to continue to do so.

The following part discusses next term IF Octavius Julius will get elected.

Octavius really is the best person to lead this country, and the best we have to offer. He helped me take care of the country this month, and managed it by my side. I would have never run to president without him behind me. My Vice President, my Prime Minister, my secretary, my advisor, my confidant, my friend. I would not be here without his help.
If he will be elected, I will stay at the decisive position in the government, only this time Octavius will make the final decisions. I will serve as Minister of Foreign Affairs, and finish what we started along with leading us to new friendships and reassurance of old ties.

In conclusion... This month was not what I expected it to be. But you know what they say, Mankind makes plans and Plato laughs. I dont know about you guys, but it takes more than loosing a battle and signing a peace treaty to break my spirit. I leave this term with a bitter taste, but with my head held high.

אני פונה אליכם היום, לא כסיידוינדר, נשיא מדינת ישראל, אלא כסיידוינדר, בן אדם, אזרח. מאמר אישי של תומר, הנותן את עמדתי האישית והכנה על ההתרחשויות האחרונות. אני מקווה שתקראו ותבינו את נקודת מבטי.



דבר ראשון, כמה עדכונים לגבי ההסכם עם אינקי. אתמול ישבנו עם גורמים רשמיים בממשלת אינקי ודיברנו על האופציה של לשנות את ההסכם מאויב טבעי למלחמות התנגדות, שיממונו על ידי מכירת המדליות. צעד זה נעשה בגלל מידע מודיעיני המצביע על התנגדות רבה מאוד מצד הבריתות של קפריסין, שבסופו של דבר תגרום לנו להוציא מספר רב של כסף כדי לנצח. אינקי נענו לבקשתנו וסוכם שאנחנו נמכור מדליה אחת (המלחמה מתנהלת בזה הרגע) והם ימכרו את השתיים האחרות. בנוסף, הברית עם קפריסין בוטלה מכמה סיבות שלא יכולות להתפרסם בפומבי (לא רק הסיפור עם סיירת מטכ"ל, שנגיע אליו בהמשך). אינקי הוכיחו עצמם שותפים אמיתיים לשלום ויציבות אחרי שיתוף הפעולה שלהם עם הבקשה שלנו לשנות הסכם, שכבר נחתם.

ההסכם
הסיטואציה לא הייתה אידיאלית, וגם לא צודקת. העובדות היו- הפסדנו. אינקי נצחו. אינקי היו חזקים יותר, מאורגנים יותר, מוכנים יותר. הייתי צריך לפעול עם מה שיש לי, הכלים שהיו ברשותי. הם לא היו רבים- הם היו יותר אנשים, עם יותר נשקים.

דיפלומטיה לא הייתה האופציה הראשונה שלי; הכנו מלחמת התנגדות גדולה, עם טנקים ויחידות צבאיות מכל העולם, בריתות מוכנות לקריאה שלנו. אבל ככל שדיברתי עם אנשים חכמים ומנוסים, חברים ושחקנים מסביב לעולם, קיבלתי את אותה תשובה- ישראל עדיין לא מוכנה לשחרר את עצמה. הרצון הראשוני שלי להלחם על החופש שלנו והרצון לנקמה נאלץ לפנות מקום להיגיון. האם נשמור על ה"גאווה" שלנו או נפעל בדרכים אלטרנטיביות כדי לקבל את המדינה שלנו בחזרה בשביל הפסד מינימאלי? ראיתי אנשים פושטים את הרגל. אנשים התחילו להתפזר בעולם. לא יכלו לחכות לשחרור. היינו חייב לפעול ולהחליט במהירות.

עכשיו, אני רוצה להבהיר משהו- לא הייתה החלטה נכונה והחלטה שגויה. שתי החלטות שונות, שתי תוצאות שונות. החלטתי שעדיף להתאפס על עצמנו ולהחזיר את המשאבים שנאבדו במלחמה ובתפוצות כדי לוודאות שלא נפסיד שוב. אז הבנו יציבות לאזור, שקט. שלום במזרח התיכון!

הברית עצמה? מחווה דיפלומטית ותו לא, מחווה לשינוי היחסים בין שתי המדינות מאויבות לחברות. לא, לא אחים, לא חברים בדם, לא בעלי ברית- אבל חברים. לאלה עם הפחד ממחויבות- בלי שום התחייבות מיוחדות. הברית הייתה מבטיחה שקט לשני הצדדים לחודש, הרי ברית יותר חזקה מכל מילה.

העסקה הייתה החלטה קשה שלא רציתי לקבל, אך הייתי חייב. אני לא מצפה מכולם להסכים או להבין, רק לכבד אותה. אדם יהודי בעמדה שלא תאמן עד כמה הייתה קשה, אמר פעם: " איני עושה חשבון על הגאווה היהודית, אלא על הדם היהודי."

הערה: העסקה נחתמה לפני השינוי במודל הכלכלי שמאפשר למדינות כבושות לנהל את עסקיהן, לקנות ולמכור כרגיל. אבל עסקה היא עסקה, ואדם ללא מילה, הוא אדם בלי כלום. רק להוסיף את זה לשורה הגדולה של ביש מזל ישראלי כתוצאה משינויים פתאומיים של האדמינים.


כי אחרי הכל, קיבלנו בתמורה את הדבר הכי טוב שאפשר לבקש..

סיירת מטכל
זה היה נושא שקשה לטפל בו. לא ציפיתי לכזאת התנגדות מתוך ארץ, בוודאי שלא מהאנשים הספציפיים האלו, חלקם תמכו בהסכם לפני חתימתו. אני אישית התאכזבתי מכמה אינדיבידואלים בתוך סיירת, אשר את חלקם החשבתי כחברים. כזה מעשה, גם ההחלטה להציג אולטימטום לממשלה וגם ההחלטה להפוך את זה לפומבי בצורה כה פופוליסטית היא חסרת כבוד ומבישה. ממתי יחידה צבאית, שביחד עם כולם לא הצליחה להגן על המדינה (כמובן זאת לא אשמתם, אבל אתם מבינים על מה אני מדבר) יוצאת נגד הממשלה שעשתה עסקה להשיג את המדינה בחזרה בדרך שעובדת עם הפסדים מינימאלית? וממתי יחידה צבאית, עילית ככל שתהיה, מרשה לעצמה להתערב בפוליטיקה בכזה אופן? רק בישראל, כמו שהמשפט אומר.

אני מוצא את זה מגוחך שכל המדליות התנגדות הלכו לחברי סיירת כמחווה, והם הולכים ועושים מעשה שכזה. הבושה האמיתית היא כאן. לולא החיוניות של סיירת מטכל לביטחון המדינה, הם היו נענשים והיו מפסיקים לקבל אספקה. אבל זה ברור שאנחנו סומכים על סיירת הרבה מאוד, אפילו יותר מידי. רק כמה ימים עמדתי לטובת אנשיה בטענה שהם בחיים לא יעזבו את המדינה ואכפת להם מאיתנו יותר מידי מכדי לעשות כזה דבר. האכזבה שלי נובעת לא מזה שיצאתי כסיל, אלא מהעובדה שטעיתי לגבי אנשים שהחשבתי כחברים ואחים. נראה שעניין ה"לא תחת פיקוד צה"ל" יותר מסוכן ממה שנחשב בהתחלה. אני חייב להודות, הבעתי רצון רב להצטרף לסיירת מסיבה אחת- הכבוד. כמובן שזה השתנה. אני אבלה בחברת אחיי נשק עליהם אני סומך באש ובמים.. "הלויאליסטים החדשים".



מנטאליות פגומה
הנושא הזה מפריע לי מאוד. הוא מהווה אחת מהבעיות הגרעין הגדולות ביותר כאן בישראל. זה התפיסה הפגומה, המעוותת של אנשים כאן.
קודם כל, האגרסיביות. נראה שלכמה אנשים אין מספיק שכל כדי להבין את המצב- ישראל עדיין לא מעצמה צבאית. אנשים צועקים לתקוף כל דבר שזז, ואם משהו לא זז הם צועקים להזיז אותו ואז לתקוף אותו. קיוויתי שלפחות המלחמה עם אינקי תשמש ככאפה מעוררת- טעיתי. המנטאליות הפגומה נשארת.

עוד נושא הוא עניין הביקורת והריבים הפנימיים בישראל. רובם על ידי ישראלים במציאות, הרבה סובב FXP, המגרש הביתי של חלקם. נראה שהאושר של חלק מהאנשים מגיע לא על ידי בניית המדינה אלא על ידי לצאת על האנשים שכן מנסים לבנות אותה. זו לא ביקורת- ביקורת בונה תמיד מבורכת- אלא ליצור רעש ולסכסך לשם הרעש והסכסוך. לשם להוציא את ה"אויבים" שלך, או האופוזיציה, טועים בכל הזדמנות שאתה יכול, מול כולם. הרבה פעמים אנשים אלו מוותרים על ההיגיון ומשאירים את המוח שלהם מאחור על מנת לנסות לשים את ידם על העליונה- בין אם זה בגלל קנאה, אכזבה בגלל אי קבלת תפקידים, בעיות אישיות עם אדם, לכיף, או רק כדי להגיד "אמרתי לכם". ורוב הפעמים, אנשים אלו מעולם לא עשו שום דבר למדינה שהם אוהבים לבקר. אבל הם כן חושבים שמנהיגה עובדים בשבילהם.

עוד חלק שאני רוצה להתייחס אליו בעניין הזה, הוא המנטאליות של הרווח האישי, אנשים ששמים את האינטרסים שלהם לפני אלו של המדינה. אנשים שניסו למכור לג'ו טנקים במחירים מופרזים בזמן המלחמה, אנשים שבזמן מלחמה בורחים למדינות אחרות בשביל בונוסים, אנשים שעברו מדינות במהלך השבוע האחרון כי אכפת להם יותר מלפתח את עצמם מאת המדינה. יש גם את אלה שיש להם מלא חברות וכסף אבל עדיין באים לבקש אספקה מצה"ל על חשבון העניים. אני חושב שזה ברור מה הבעיה בתפיסה המעוותת הזאת. י


רק מחכים..

הכהונה הקודמת, הכהונה הבאה
למרבה ההפתעה, הייתי מסכם את הכהונה שלי כמוצלחת. שזה מגיע לעניינים שהיו תחת שליטתי- תפקדתי יותר טוב ממה שחשבתי. בכל התחומים, אני מאמין שהפעולות שלי מדברות בעד עצמן, אבל איני מעוניין להוכיח את עצמי לאף אחד כרגע. הצלחתי להגשים את רוב הציפיות במצע שלי, ולמטרות שלא הוגשמו מוגשת עבודה רבה כרגע. אני, מרצון, הקדשתי זמן רב ומשאבים אישיים החודש- לטובה, אני מאמין. אני חושב שהזמן הוצא כהלכה, והתוצאות נראות, בכל התחומים.

אני לא ארוץ לנשיאות שוב החודש. כמות הלכלוך הספיקה לי, וההתפתחויות האחרונות הוציאו כל טיפת רצון שעוד נשארה לעשות זאת.

החלק הבא מדבר על הכהונה הבאה, בהנחה שאוקטביוס יוליוס ייבחר.
אוקטביוס הוא באמת האדם הכי טוב להנהיג את המדינה שלנו, והכי טוב שיש לישראל להציע. הוא עזר לי לטפל במדינה החודש, וניהל אותה לצידי. לעולם לא הייתי רץ לנשיאות בלי טוני מאחורי. סגן הנשיא שלי, ראש הממשלה שלי, המזכירה שלי, היועץ שלי, איש הסוד שלי, החבר שלי. לא הייתי כאן ללא עזרתו.
אם הוא ייבחר, אשאר בעמדה גבוהה בממשלה ואמשיך לקחת חלק פעיל בהחלטות, רק שהפעם אוקטביוס ייתן את המילה האחרונה. אני אהיה שר החוץ, ואסיים מה שהתחלנו ביחד עם התחלת חברויות חדשות, וחיזוק קשרים ישנים.


מרוצה!

לסיכום... החודש לא היה מה שציפיתי שיהיה. אבל אתם יודעים מה אומרים, האדם מתכנן תכניות ופלאטו צוחק. אני לא יודע מה איתכם, אבל צריך יותר מהפסד בקרב וחתימת הסכם שלום כדי לשבור את הרוח שלי. אני עוזב את הכהונה הזאת בטעם מר, אך עם ראש מורם.
