An Honorable Battle, Just in Case You Want to Fight in One

I know what you’re going to say before you say it. Arjay, your sudden passion for the Bolivian resistance is compelling, but I’m not just going to up and leave what I’m doing to fight a battle on the other side of the world, for a country with a very long history of mediocrity, just because of your enthusiasm. You’re going to have to sweeten the pot if you think I’m going to disobey the orders from my own military unit and leave the war I’m already in the middle of to follow you today on your quest for Xitlali.

I’m a man of modest means, but I’m hoping I can give you a reason to try something different today. Perhaps through persuasion and bargaining, I can convince a couple of you to come to Santa Cruz in Paraguay to fight on behalf of a Bolivia that is hopefully on the rise.

The Bolivian saga is not much different than the Irish saga. Both are currently wiped, both have a long history of periodically being wiped and its neighbors harassing them. A lot of countries share this history. The smaller countries have such common themes, and it’s always puzzled me why they simply go along with the US-VERSUS-THEM-du-jour superalliance dance of death, when the truth no one ever pursues is, were they to discover their commonality and ally themselves accordingly, they’d not only survive, but perhaps thrive and even challenge the big boys.

In two millennia, that hasn’t happened, so it remains a fantasy. Until then, it’s up to people in Ireland, Denmark, both Koreas, the eMiddle East, and in any other country that has had PTO’s and invasions to deal with as a daily way of life to realize they’re all in the same boat and come to fight. If the governments don’t see this palpable truth, that the small countries of the world need not be perpetual prey and they would do much better if they bonded, perhaps the people will and act accordingly?

HEY IRELAND, LOST ANOTHER RW? How many in a row is that? You’re not doing anything right now, there’s no resistance wars going on. Instead of wasting your time and energy and resources on a thankless ally who doesn’t really care whether or not you fight today because they understand you just need to fight ANYWHERE to rack up damage points and improve yourself, how about coming here and fight for something decent? I promise you, the people of the Bolivian community will be much more thankful for your efforts, win or lose.

It’s a winnable war. It’s early as of this writing, we’re currently behind, 29-15, but we swept all divisions in the last battle and looking good to start the current round.

If it’s resources you lack, contact Princess Isabella, she seems to be coordinating the resistance effort. You can ask me, but the cat who pulls Arjay’s strings has to work all day and might not get back to you in time. I gave her gold and plenty of Q7 weapons, so, on top of what she already has to work with, she’s the perfect go-between. Just tell her I sent you, and she’ll take care of you. Word to the wise, it’s 160 currency round-trip from Ireland to Paraguay and back, so if that’s the reason why you can’t come, tell her, and she’ll see what she can do.

So, what else do I have to tell you? I told you this is a battle many ought to be able to sympathize with. I told you the little guys in the world need to stick together, it’s obvious the big boys won’t do it for them. I told you, Ireland, you’re just as wiped as Bolivia is and you have nothing better to do than come here and show us that cantankerous Irish bravado. I told you who to contact if you need help getting here. What’s left?
