An Apology

Day 869, 21:21 Published in Philippines Philippines by Josie Brooks
First things first. This is not an episode of "Seeking Fate's Tapestry". I am not quite ready to get back to that yet. But I felt that I owed my loyal readers an explanation as to my sudden absence.

I suffer from a rare condition, or at least my childhood dentist told my mother is was fairly rare at the time, that cause my teeth to be very soft and breakable. As a result, they break easily. I have gotten used to that particular difficulty but it is very hard to keep all of the breaks clean enough to avoid infection. I have done pretty well, until now.

About a week ago I got a terrible toothache. I went to the dentist & discovered that 3 of my teeth in the back left side of my mouth were horribly infected and had to come out. The dentist immediately gave me antibiotics and scheduled me for an extraction. Due to the probable length of the procedure I had to wait until today for the extractions to actually take place. This was the soonest the dentist had enough time free to take care of me.

Today, the three molars on my left lower jaw were removed. The procedure took about 3 hours. I am still very much in pain and therefore cannot concentrate on anything creative. I apologize for the delay in the story and promise to return to my writing as soon as I am physically able.

Thank you for your patience and I hope you will have another episode to entertain you all within the week.
