An Age of Mindless Minions?

The Era of Mindless

It is happening everywhere. It is a menacing affront to all that is valid. It welters all that is growing and it still is massively entertaining. What is this diabolical chagrin that Imperium Press speaks of? What possible malevolent as well as sinister movement could be worthy of such epic and consolidated mention?

Media. That’s right. Exactly what you are reading as of this very millisec. Media is one of the most powerful and important tools to any country, regardless of the nature of it. But why such a negative outlook on it you may ask? Simply put, media is propaganda as well as entertainment. To understand the major problem Imperium Press is about to present, we will define the mechanisms of this superlative tool a little further than the standard understanding.

Propaganda is basically, media or interactions with the general public that are subliminally or starkly outright a support for a specific political motivation, group or goal. Media minimally placed, are interactions with person masses via writing, video, radio etc for a wide array of reasons way to elaborate and ongoing to put here. You see the connection? Great.

Now lets take a solid look at our current atmosphere of media around the eworld. Funny as a chicken bone but dismal as hell isn't it? Most media that you take a look at now days is one of three categories. Personal Literature (Comics, interactive, goof.) Comical News. (Serious situations made into a mockery for enjoyment of the people.) Or propaganda. (Gov attempts at interacting with the public.) So just to be clear Imperium Press is not knocking every newspaper out there or committing an assault on fun...we are just knocking at the general attitude that these articles are presented. Which brings IP into the main topic and general point...

It is a desensitizing effect on the minds of many. Sure we all enjoy funny things! But we have noticed as well as been told by sources that positive influx of interaction within the most important communications have slowly but surely dwindled. Take the DoD Orders page. Three years ago or even back to the years of POTUS Harrison, This particular publisher following was massive in the thousands. The orders actually took effect. People communicated with the government. Now look at it. It barely gets by with nearly half a thousand if not less. You could blame the material rightfully so, but there are underlying reasons to its downfall. A brooding weather of less seriousness being attributed to articles in media. Some of the most popular publishers out there are satire and comical. These are the leaders of our world. So an even more troubling event is happening. Propaganda is now being administered by average joes and politically motivated comedians. Therefore turning our media situation into a massive cesspool of mindless “fun”. In order to change these effects and the lack of general interaction between the governments, groups and people, It will take a monstrous amount of seriousness that few could actually manage.

Governments will need creative directors or if they already have them they need to be fired without pay. People will have to participate with local government sanctioned groups that create less of a mass of moving bodies to a more manageable array of highly organized political community districts. Orders for the general public should reach most if not all citizens. The only way to do this is via media. To make fun and serious mesh, Imperium Press takes the challenge with pride...
