The AMP May Party President Nomination Thread is up and running, and if you can't see that thread and you're in AMP then you should contact your nearest Goku lookalike and kick him in his British nads until he queefs to your request.

If you can't see that thread and you're not in AMP, then... well... alright I guess.

Irregardless of regarding the thread, I was nommed twice which means I have the go ahead to accept such nominations, which means I'M RUNNING FOR AMP PARTY PRESIDENT, BITCH.


Yeah, it's exciting stuff, and regardless of whether I win or not, I wanted to take this article to touch a bit upon what makes the AMP great, how it can be made greater, and how having me at the helm of such greatness can be... pretty... great.

Three-Pronged, Tri-Donged, Qui-Gon
It's a known fact I have a split penis. I won't go into much more detail other than the fact that there are two lengths, and both have two heads, and both are fully operational, much unlike the Death Star II which was merely partially operational at the time of the Rebel Alliance's attack.

But quantity isn't everything, and I need another swinging hipster to keep me in check. That's why for my Vice Party President and Chief of Staff combo pack I've opted to go with an amigo who is just top. Top gear, top shelf, top kek; you name it, he's topped it.

For the last month, under David Wilson, emdoublegee has been the AMP Recruitment Director. And there's a reason I have him as my second muchacho: that, ultimately is what AMP needs.

I'm setting three goals if elected AMP PP, and if I can get to June 15th having completed all of them it will have been adequate.

1. Raise the party rank from at least 4th to 3rd.
2. Beat our forum's most users online at one time record of 30.
3. Host 3 AMP party hangouts either on Skype, IRC, or elsewhere.

I really enjoy this party. I love logging onto the forums and bullshitting with the guys, and I want other people to be able to enjoy that atmosphere as well. My goals aren't complex, and they aren't overly ambitious. If by the end of next month, people will look back at my PP term and say "that was fun," then I will ultimately have accomplished something worthwhile.

Straight Frostring
In the category of additional notes, the one thing I will look at doing is overhauling the AMP media system. We have a lot of great writers at our disposal. David Wilson, greeling (can never have enough), Israel Stevens, to just name a few. Literally a few, not even figuratively. And they deserve to be showcased.

AMP media will be overhauled under my direction. A party newspaper is the first and foremost thing that we've gotta have. But what makes a culture of party media so rich is not even just the banner humping and chest bumping, but the things that people do just for fun.

And we need that. Not just in the party, but in the game. We need people to remember that yes, this is a game, and yes, you can in fact have fun in it. It's like the old Stephen King movie goes.


So yeah, there's gonna be games. I did Winterfest once upon a time, and I'm aching for some summer loving.
