AMP PP Address / Candidacy

Day 1,568, 17:56 Published in USA USA by Jack Mensley

Good evening AMPers,

As my first term is coming to a close, I ponder what I've done for AMP and America. I know there is no right way to be a party president. Some PPs do what they have to for the party, others do what they please.

I've done what I can for AMP. I've seen what mistakes I've made and what I can do better. Not everything can be done in one term, but I've done my best to full fill the goals and see what was needed to be done.

My Goals
Accomplished - Increase congressional seats for the party
--Compared to last term, we came out with 16 wins. Which I found to be an achievement. Although I set at goal for 20 seats and fell 4 short, I intend to press on harder in the next elections and reach that 20 seat goal.

Not Accomplished - More player recruitment
-- It was a hard month with the eAPI being down and no way of knowing exactly who was a new player. Although we had found other ways of recruitment and significantly grew in numbers.

Not Accomplished - Better and convent education for new players in all erep and erep affiliated aspects.
-- A goal that has slipped out from my fingers. I wish I could give new players some sort of formed resources, but it takes much time to find to accomplish this

Achieved - Updates to all of AMP at a more often occurring rate
-- MMs every other day, sometimes it wasn't every day, but I and the Communications Department have done the best we could to keep everyone updated on party news.

Achieved - Greater opportunities of political experience for all party members
-- My cabinet has been open to all people who feel they are potentially capable of contributing to Leadership. We've had many new deputies and given them the opportunity to learn how AMP works.

With this knowledge I have learned, I will be able to run a smoother second term. I wish to full fill my goal and accomplish all of my goals.
Therefore my second term will be the best term
