The Situation

Yesterday, the Serbs launched their invasion on Maryland, which after maintaining full momentum for the past few days, ended in epic failure. America now has the advantage and launched an attack on Midi-Pyrenees which I expect America to win. Some French err.. um.. *cough* *cough* Serbian collaborators, launched a resistance war in Limousin apparently to completely kick America out of Europe but to know avail. As predicted, the Hungarians launched a series of resistance wars and have quickly recovered from their recent wiping and have centered their attacks on Bulgarian held regions. Bulgaria has recently intruded into Poland and stopped the Poles dead in their tracks with no route into the Ukraine. The Ukrainians meanwhile retook their lost regions and now Poland faces war with Bulgaria but with the recent liberation of multiple Hungarian regions, Bulgaria must now manage a two front war between Hungarian resistance and and an invasion into Poland. Now wars between Poland and Bulgaria are currently open, but considering the ease with which the Bulgarians conquered Little Poland, Poland may very well be seeing a wipe for the first time in a very long tie. Her core regions are under attack by a rank 4 country and her few remaining colonies in western Germany and the Netherlands are of no use to her without supply routes. Germany has regained most of it's regions and my very well soon be liberating its last few western regions from Polish occupation. The Netherlands have a small population and may need need support from allies to liberate its regions. It may obtain that help through the multiple countries currently occupying the non-existent UK, which ONE has left dead in the water. Spain meanwhile remains under unnecessary partial Serbian occupation and is trying to regain its region from its supposed "ally". The French meanwhile renewed it's MPP with Greece and shows no interest in attacking Serbia on its own for obvious reasons but may support the American counter offensive.

The War Game

Let's do it. Okay, the US manages to maintain momentum in France against Serbia and may or not cut Serbia off from another potential invasion to the homeland. Regardless, from what we saw with Poland, the US may get as far as oh say.. Languedoc Roussillon before being stopped and face with another Serbian blitz. Or America may get as far as Italy as if possible, liberate some of Italy for the Italians to take back. We didn't expect to get very far with Poland but considering we reached Germany we may see a repeat here. Poland's core regions will be under heavy attack and it'll be interesting to see how Bulgaria's offensive will play out. We might see Poland's core regions being wiped and only her colonies remaining which will be under heavy German resistance. The Ukraine will no doubt support a Bulgarian offensive as a little bit of payback. The UK will begin multiple RWs but may be wiped as fast as it was restored. Germany may be seeing its full restoration. France on the other hand, will have to wait a little longer and support the American counter-attack if it wishes to see the Serbs out of French territory. If the Yanks penetrate as deep as Italy, the Italians will also no doubt support the American drive. Ok so let's say the American offensive works out and the Yanks can drive the Serbs out of France at least. America will no doubt continue it's drive into Italy. However northern Italy is under Slovenian occupation which will add complications to an Italian liberation as the Slovenians wouldn't want to let it's Italian regions go. So now America faces both Serbian and Slovenian resistance as it tries to liberate an ally. Adding even more to the complication is the fact that Hungary may very well counter attack into Croatia possibly pushing into the Mediterranean. The Hungarians could either jump the pond as support the defense against the US or support the Poles in the war with Bulgaria. Doing both would require organization ONE isn't capable of, evident as they've completely left the UK and Spain stranded and haven't been able to properly defend Poland or Hungary.

The Verdict

We could be seeing a restoration of Italy and the break down of ONE's defensive capability and organization. Poland in danger and Hungary stuck in RWs, Spain occupied, and the UK wiped. The only major players at this point are Serbia and Indonesia with it's long drawn out war with the Aussies. The Serbs haven't been doing very well in the last few battles and so I suspect organization within may also be starting to break down. So far it's very man for themselves in ONE. America may very well soon liberate and ally and push back the Serbs only to be stopped dead in her tracks and subsequently invaded. Or be halted in France altogether. The invasion of Europe is turning out to be a reckless game of tug-o-war for the US and we just dodged a bullet with the victory in Maryland.
