Join the new world

A few days ago I gave you my two cents on the war in Europe. Here's a follow-up.

The Situation

My previous predictions in France were slightly correct. Serbia managed to cut us off in Europe, reducing our weapons bonus to only 60%. Ironically but not coincidentally, this came right after the Q6 upgrade. Oh and did y'all see this fool? Way too much gold for my salary. But back to the war. So, Serbia cut us off in Europe and have clear water for Virginia, Maryland and NC. Oddly enough they're content fighting us and punning the French and Spanish in RWs. They're playing passive, for the most part. They have an open border with France and yet don't invade the French, a relatively simple task for anyone to accomplish. Instead they seemed hellbent on kicking us out of Europe, which they essentially did today. A bad thing? Yes because if they do invade the French, it'll be harder for us to attack Serbian held regions. We've failed spectacularly at the latter so I wonder what our prospects are at attacking Serbia. Remember that ill-fated battle in Aquitaine? Yes we lost momentum there and now the Serbians have built up on that victory and have been pushing us back. Poland is split in two and Hungry was wiped. But no! Poland is much too prideful than to be reduced to only her original regions and a few colonies! Her population can't live in crowded regions! They barely have toilets (ooh living in crowded regions might not be the best choice) let alone an effective gov't that can direct damage. So the Polish have come to a dilemma: organize themselves into civilized folk or call upon the brutal inefficiency of it's militarized population to expand. They chose the latter and have invaded puny Ukraine to shamefully restore the faded glory of their now bygone empire.

The War Game

Okay,let's take the current situation into mind and war game this. Serbia now has clear and open waters to invaded France, the US, or continue punning Spain in a series of slightly humorous resistance wars. With the US losing her only rubber region she now faces the fact that it'll be more difficult and expensive to properly supply her troops. With the weapon bonus cut short, Serbia is in perfect position to attack the Eastern Seaboard. Tank prices will increase as the invasion begins which means demand will run high and supply plummets if more weapon regions are lost to the Serbs. So now America is at a standstill as her troops can't be properly equipped and the Serbs blitz through Eastern United States. However this is only one enemy instead of the 4-way invasion back in July and the 2-way several weeks ago. Hungary get's on her feet and attacks Croatia or Romania. More headaches for Terra/Eden as the Croats and Romanians can no longer support a defense of mainland US. Yet, another headache would be if Poland didn't stop at Ukraine, but also went on to attack Russia, possibly to get to the West Coast of the US and support Serbia. Or Serbia could invade France and add Gaul to it's pseudo-Roman empire and Poland march across Eastern Europe towards Russia without support, an unwise move as even the Canucks can beat down the Polish.

Verdict

Considering the possibilities, it could be anyone's guess as to what will happen next. We'll find out very soon though, as Serbia wouldn't want to miss a shot at grand ole' USA. America ,the invasion of ONE-held Europe has backfired, but not as bad as it could of been. Germany is up and running but France and the US are now under grave danger of being invaded. Serbia has proven itself to be a worthy foe. I hear Serbs are pretty friendly once you get past their "destroy America and Croatia" attitude. We face a coming storm America. Serbia will soon be stepping on the footstep of our nation. We still need to wait and see what Serbia's actions will be next as this may well decide the fate of our other allies as well.
