Hello eUSA, I'm system0101 and I am the Deputy Director of Ambassadorial Affairs. I want to let you all know that despite the fact that we have had a lot of applications, and a lot of excitement in the Ambassadorial Affairs Office, we still have many positions that are left unfilled. We have a total of 16 Deputy positions that are not filled or held at the moment. In addition, we have 4 eCountries that we have not been able to find a proper Ambassador to. I want to speak briefly about these countries below.

Czech Republic - This is one of the surprising vacancies. Many of their articles are in English, though at least a rudimentary knowledge of the Czech language (or a closely related one) would be beneficial.

Moldavia - Officially called 'Republic of Moldavia' in-game, this is a country that has remained vacant of an Ambassador for as long as I've kept track. I see a multitude of languages in their media, and their wiki page says Moldovan and Russian are spoken (in addition to some sparse English articles). This position might not be the most difficult politically or diplomatically, but it would be a linguists' delight. The person who we put here would likely have to have at least rudimentary knowledge of Russian, Moldovan, Romanian, and other languages of their region.

Philippines - This is the other surprising vacancy. Their media is English for the most part, and they are the only country that attacks Malaysia that isn't epic fail. I believe the reason this eCountry is marked as a vacancy is because we had penciled someone into this position and they never replied back.

South Korea - Noone wants to go hang out with the Theocrats ;_;
Seriously though, this is probably the easiest position to fill, but we are looking for an appropriate candidate who has a knowledge or experience of eWorld history, or is familiar with this group but can remain a neutral witness.

In addition to the four Deputy positions to these vacant Ambassador spots, we have Deputy vacancies in the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Croatia, Indonesia, Japan, Netherlands, Pakistan, Portugal, Singapore, Thailand (might be a double-vacancy), and Turkey. For any of these positions, a basic knowledge of their native language is a must. We have all but run out of positions for those who only speak English.

And it wouldn't be a campaign season if I didn't at least mention this. I am running for Congress in Iowa this month. Almost all of the time I should have spent campaigning, I have instead spent making the Ambassadorial Affairs Office better staffed and more efficient. Anyone who has been an Ambassador since I was nominated should be able to tell you how much effort I have put into my position.

So I make this simple plea. If you want to see someone who would rather work than campaign and knows how to get things done get sent to Congress, consider voting for me this month in Iowa.
