Ambassador for Argentina

Day 1,997, 09:01 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Sir Rex Fleddington

The first thing I remembered when I woke up that eday was the mixed feelings of excitement and fear. Having been told by my friend Thomas765 about my move to eArgentina as an ambassador for my country, I packed my bags carefully making sure not to pack anything that would grab the eye of the eArgentinians who were notorious for acts of aggression against any members of enemy countries (This being my prejudiced thoughts at the time). The long flight to eArgentina was filled with scary thoughts of what they would do to me just because of my beliefs on Islas Malvinas and who should run it. Like many in my home nation, I remember the cold wintery day when the Argentinians attacked from the skies. Millions of them, like robots attacking anyone who dared to oppose their ideals. I knew this term was important in my new career, one screw up and what had happened before could happen again. It landed.

When I got off of that plane, the sun was shining and the birds were tweeting away like Sergeants shouting orders out to his men. What I found though, was completely different to what I had presumed about these people and their land. Instead of Argentinian flags, I saw Chilean. Instead of an army of robots, I saw a bunch of widows reduced to working on farms and in mines. I went into a pro-argentine forum, there was no hate for what the past had brought...only hope for what the future could bring. This confused me, as you may have presumed, maybe they aren’t evil maybe they are just like the eUK citizens (only less barbaric in politics 😛). After a hard nights sleep, I went to the office of the MoFA minister, FlorenciaC, for an interview about how things were in occupied Argentina. Although I was only allowed to ask her a few questions as she was very busy. Heres how it went:

Me- What is the atmosphere like in Argentina with the recent occupation?
F- A non-aggression pact is being shuffled between Argentina and Chile. Although Argentina is not at its best in the military, there is a lot of enthusiasm here as the population is booming and we are recovering.

Me- What is the public opinion of the new CP (Lord Tinchosss)?
F- I do not know much about what the public think about him as I only work in the shadows 🙂

Me- Where do you see eArgentina when this term is over?
F-We see Argentina with new allies and retaining good old allies at the same time. We see Argentina repositioned geopolitically and in a better position

Here is some information I have found on eArgentina whilst I have been here.

Upon airstriking the East Midlands, Argentina were forced into a protracted war which allowed Chile to invade and conquer the whole of it in one big gulp.

Although Argentina have the biggest population in erepublik (23,000), most of their citizens are relatively new (average citizen level is 11) compared to other countrieswhich means they are less likely to win in D4 battles (which give the most points).

Argentina have had a president impeachment proposal but it failed 31-2 meaning that they know its too late for anything to change or they don’t see it as his fault.

Thank you for reading my article, I shall bring out another one for eColombia when I find have more time. 🙂
