Alliance Cancellation and the Shedding of Mindanao

Day 977, 21:10 Published in Philippines Philippines by Jootli
Greetings ePhilippines. As you might have noticed, there has been a little disturbance going around ePhilippines right now. First, the alliance with eThailand which at first was meant to be passed, but suddenly, the government decided to withdraw it. Second, the taking over of Mindanao by eMalaysia.

Alliance With eThailand
The alliance with eThailand was meant to foster better relations between the two countries. There has been plans of reviving the training wars, possibly involving other Asian countries. (Check out our MoFA's article )In all honesty, this is not a move to harm any other country. But with eIndonesia's case, it seems they're thinking that we'll be helping eThailand on their war. Seems they've panicked a little too early. Besides, how could a country, with a military next to nothing, help in the war against eIndonesia?

The Shedding of Mindanao
Having an MPP with eThailand would open a war between eIndonesia and ePhilippines. To avoid this, we need to shed our regions bordering eIndonesia - that's Mindanao. eMalaysia controlling Mindanao will prevent us from having an open war with eIndonesia. At the same time, eMalaysia won't have an open war with eIndonesia since they don't have an MPP with eThailand.

In the past, ePhilippines, as small as it is, has already experienced being wiped out by eIndonesia. Everybody knows that we can't do anything to defend ourselves. We don't even have MPPs with other countries. That's what we're trying to avoid here - to be unjustly wiped out again by a far more bigger country.

With this, I apologize to all would-be congressmembers in Mindanao.

Thank you.

Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!
