Over the last 24 hours, it's come to light there is a possible JAVA WORM that has effected the game.

There is talk on a number of forums that this is effecting people who fight on the side of EDEN in recent battles.

IMPORTANT: This is not a go at Phoenix and not a ploy. This is a security threat and all players who use EXTREME CAUTION when playing.

There has already been a WARNING issued by the Canadian government in this article...

Prime Minister Wally Wilson of Australia says...
Word on the street is that there is a Java worm being distributed via eRep when using the war module. This worm attempts to get your PC IP banned by attacking the eRep firewall and tries to steal log in info.

The recommendation given to me was to disable Java and to be sure to log out of eRep before closing your browser. Or use Linux.

To ALL PLAYERS...

We take this security threat very seriously. It's not about alliances and the like, it's about protecting people's personal privacy.

For those not aware, several months ago South African player Ines Schumacher not only had her citizen account hacked, but her personal email and other private real life accounts.
This was personally very costly to her to fix.

So PLEASE take off your "Game" hat for just a moment and treat this possible Java Worm Virus very seriously and warn your fellow players.
