Alien attack against the eWorld! / Foldonkivuli tamadas eVilag ellen! [UPDATE]

Készítettem egy logót az újságnak és ennek örömére...

... a következőkben egy pusztám elméleti síkon mozgó, kómás, teszthalott állapotban írt ötletemet vetem papírra HDD-re (just for fun) és bár szinte biztos, hogy nem lesz ilyen, de mi lenne, ha?... 🙂

Az eRepublik egy, a valódi életet szimuláló játék. Mint a való életben, itt is különféle társadalmi reakciók figyelhetők meg az egyes események kapcsán (békekötés, harc, új szövetségek, árulások, stb.). Egy ezzel foglalkozó szakember bizonyára érdekes dolgokat tudna mesélni, ha megfigyelné a mi kis társadalmunkat.

Bár biztosra nem tudjuk, de én hiszem, hogy létezik valamiféle életforma (akár intelligens) a Földön kívül. És ha már létezik, akkor akár ellenséges reakciót is kiválthat belőle, ha egyszer felfedezi a mi kis földi civilizációnkat. Ha ez megtörténhet a való életben, miért ne dobnánk be ide is?

Arra gondoltam, hogy fene mód érdekes lenne szimulálni egy földönkívüli támadást itt, az eRepublikon, az egész eFöld ellen. Felrázná a népet és - bár nyilván csak részben, de - betekintést nyújtana abba, hogy a valódi életben miképp reagálnának a nemzetek, ha egyszer csak idegen katonák árasztanák el az utcákat, modern fegyverekkel és járművekkel. Vajon félelmében minden nemzet bezárkózna és próbálná védeni a saját határait és városait? Esetleg a baráti országok összefognának, de néhányan, pl. Észak-Korea kimaradnának a buliból és saját szövetségesekkel, a maguk módján próbálnák megvédeni a területeiket és a polgáraikat? Esetleg lehetséges lenne egy olyan összefogás is, aminek kivétel nélkül minden ország a részese és a sérelmeiket, saját érdekeiket félre tudnák tenni a közös ellenséggel szemben? Vagy lennének olyanok, akik ebből is hasznos remélnének?


Valahogy így tudnám elképzelni a dolog megvalósítását az eRepublikon:

Váratlanul megjelenne a főoldalon egy figyelmeztetés, miszerint a Földet megtámadta egy másik naprendszerből érkező inváziós hadsereg.



Az országok egy nemzetközi összefogás keretében elkezdhetnek megépíteni egy, a résztvevő országok területeit megvédő "csodafegyvert".

A szükséges idegen technológiák megszerzésére katonai egységeket kellene felállítani (minden országnak a népességszámához viszonyított taglétszámút), valamint a kutatásra pénzt kellene utalni egy közös kasszába. Amelyik ország nem képes elég katonát összegyűjteni az egységekbe és elég pénzt beleadni a közös kasszába, az kérhet segítséget más országoktól (vagy megkapja, vagy nem).



Se a pénzt, se a katonákat nem lenne muszáj beleadni a közös küldetésbe, de amelyik ország ezt nem teszi meg, az számíthat rá, hogy a jövőben nem kap segítséget a védelemhez a többi országtól. Ez is egy lehetséges út, kiszállhat a nemzetközi projektből és a pénzét saját bunkerekre, fegyverfejlesztésre fordíthatja és talán neki is lenne esélye a védelemre. Ez a lehetőség kevesebbe kerülne, mint a közös projekt, de rizikósabb lenne.

Miután a közös kasszában összegyűlt a pénz és minden résztvevő ország felállította a seregét, elkezdődhet az idegen-vadászat, új technológiák után kutatva. Az idegenek random módon támadnák meg az egyes országok régióit és a csatákban bármelyik ország segíthetne védelmezni a megtámadott ország területét. Bárki dönthet úgy, hogy nem segít és inkább az idegeneknek drukkol, de így vajon mi lesz fordított helyzetben?

A csaták során a katonák folyamatosan idegen technológiákat gyűjtenének és csak akkor kezdhetnék majd meg a "csodafegyver" megépítését, ha minden szükséges alkatrész összegyűlt. (Persze ehhez az kell, hogy időközben a földönkívüliek ne igázzák le a teljes bolygót.)



Mindeközben a közös programban nem résztvevő felek saját maguknak kellene gondoskodniuk a területeik védelméről, hacsak a többiek nem utaznak ki hozzájuk segíteni. Hogy megteszik-e majd, az csak a jóindulatukon fog múlni, hiszen a közös projekthez nem járultak hozzá.

Ha megvannak az alkatrészek, megkezdődhet a "csodafegyver" építése, de közben továbbra is vissza kellene verni az idegeneket...

I’ve made a logo for my newspaper and to celebrate this...

... in the following articel I will note down my ideas on paper on HDD (just for fun), in a comatose, near-death state just in theoretical plane. I’m pretty sure that these won’t ever happen, but what if?....

The eRepublik is a game which simulates the real life. As in the real life, we can notice different social reactions after certain events happen (peace treaty, war, new alliances, betrayals, etc.). If a specialist who deals with situations like these would observe our little community, could probably be able to tell some interesting things

Although we aren’t sure that there exists any kind of life form outside our Planet, I believe it exists. If it exists, then it’s also probable that they can react in an aggressive way, if they discover our civilisation on Earth. If this is likely to happen in real life, why can’t it happen here also?

I thought that it would be quite entertaining to simulate an attack on Earth here in eRepublik, against the whole eWorld. It would shake up epeople – though just partly, but – it would offer an insight, that how in real life nations react, if suddenly foreign soldiers fill the streets with modern weapons and vehicles. Would every nation lock the door on themselves and try to protect their own boundaries and cities? Maybe the friendly countries would join their forces, but some of them, like North Korea would skipp out of the party and with their own allies, they would defend their citizens and regions with their own methods? Would it be possible such a collaboration in which without exception every country is involved and they would put aside their harms, interests against the common enemy? Or maybe some of them would look forward only for the benefit?

This is how I imagine the realisation of this on eRepublik:

Suddenly on the main page it would appear a notification, that the Earth had been attacked by an invading army coming from another galaxy.



The countries would start to build a „magic weapon” as the part of an international colalboration, which would defend the participating countries’ lands.

For the acquisition of the foreign technologies requried for the building of the weapon, military units would be set (every country with his own, based on their population), and money would be gathered in a joint cash register. If a country can’t collect enough soldiers in their units and enough money in the joint cash register, they could be able to ask for help from other countries.



It wouldn’t be necessary for every soldier and all the money to be sacrificed in the joint hit, but the country which doesn’t do this, may expect that next time they wouldn’t get help from other countries to defend themselve. This is a way when they can leave the international project and continue with their own resources. This method would cost a lot less for that country than participating in the international project, but it would be much risky.

After the money is gathered in the joint cash register and every nation had set their units, the alien-hunting could begin, searching for new technologies. The aliens would attack randomly a country, and in its defending every country could help. Anybody could decide that he doesn’t participate in the action and would rather be with the aliens, but what happens in the reverse situation?

During the battles, the soldiers would continuously look after parts of new technologies, which by the time they are collected would allow to build that „magic weapon”. (Of course this could happen only if aliens don’t conquer the planet faster than the collectibles are found for the weapon).



Meanwhile, the countries in the international project, which don’t take part in the action, have to take care of their regions protection, unless they don’t travel to the battlefield to help their fellows. if they do this, they are doing it from their good intentions.

If the parts for the „magic weapon” are collected, its buidling could be started, but meanwhile we should continue to hold them back....
