Hello my name is Alexander Hamilton and I want to be your representative in Congress Rhode Island! I was born IRL and eborn in Wisconsin, I have since moved to New Jersey for the Q5 hospital. However I don’t believe regional rivalries translate into eRepublik, whereas hard work and commitment do. I’m a Federalist through and through, at first I joined the party because I felt obligated to. After joining I was warmly welcomed and introduced to the Federalist way. I continue to enjoy the unique atmosphere that the Federalist Party possesses; a friendly, serious, not-to-serious, patriotic atmosphere.

My platform:

Military:

America needs to maintain its military and make it stronger in these challenging times. The most unpopular way to achieve this is also one of the most necessary, increased taxes. I support the war time increase in income taxes and the current rate of 25% on average. As your Congressional representative Rhode Island I would carefully review any future temporary increase in taxes.

I also support fully funding the various branches of the eUSA Military.

Government spending is a big part of the war effort, however so is individual engagement. As your representative Rhode Island I will look into ways to further increase awareness of the importance of high wellness, high productivity, training, and fighting in the correct battles. Everybody needs to be as informed as possible for the eUSA to push back PEACE.

Economy:

I support the eUSA’s move towards free trade. We need to knock down protectionist barriers at home and abroad, because I believe Americans are some of the best businesspeople in the eWorld. Free trade means more customers not just more competition.

I want to represent those in eRepublik who are just starting to make it as a successful business owner. Other congressmen/women have made their careers based on helping new citizens, and I applaud and support those efforts. I hope my constituency will be those struggling businessmen looking for somebody who represents them in Congress.


Transparency:

I want to a transparent Congressman who considers each law proposal carefully. I will publish my votes in my newspaper so that my constituents can hold me accountable.

In short, Vote for Alexander Hamilton… cause I'm on the $10 bill!!!
