Albert increases lead in Superprestige

A tremendous performance of Niels Albert in Zonhoven. In the sand he easily kept off Sven Nys.
After a fast start from Wellens and Stybar, Albert took the lead. On this fast pace only Pauwels and Nys could follow. Nys had too much confidence in Pauwels, who couldn't keep up in the technical areas in the sand. Albert took 15 relatively easy seconds on Nys.
Nys slowly came closer, but on one sand hill, he had to get off his bike, where Albert (only just) stayed on his bike. In the end Albert had half a minute on Nys and more than a minute on Pauwels.
Albert said he had already made a plan before the race and was able to perform it. He increases his lead on the table with four points ahead of Sven Nys.
In two days, we'll meet them again at the koppenberg, or like some say, Nys' race. With this race the GVA-trophy starts.
