Airforce

Day 1,936, 17:49 Published in USA USA by creitzell

I've been meaning to do this for a while, but have never found the time. I have been a member of Airforce almost since the beginning of the mu. (I joined in late June/early July of 2011) I have served as an officer for nearly as long, and for a time I served as commander.

I would like to recognize those that I feel are the most important contributors to the Airforce mu since its founding. I know I will miss some important people. This is being written from my perspective only. It is not my intention to offend anyone by someone's omission. I was not around at the very beginning of the mu, so I'm sure my list will contain some mistakes due to my ignorance. A big reason I'm writing this is to encourage input about things I'm not aware of, and hopefully a better writer than I will compose a history of Airforce.

I'm not really ranking anyone, but my list is weighted with the first mentioned being the most important. I really would appreciate comments from anyone who may have better knowledge than I.

TTi09. He remains Airforce's largest commune holder, and has been doing it at least as long as I have been a member.

Firo Prochainezo. He was commander when I joined the mu. He still runs communes for Airforce.

Stephen and Zach Goldsmith. Both are long dead. (although Zach may have come back) Stephen took command after Firo retired. He was the one who made me an officer. Zach wrote the code for the roster Airforce used for at least a year. It is still the best one I have ever seen.

creitzell. Yeah, I'm going to toot my own horn. I took command under extremely difficult circumstances. I had a ton of help, but in the first week or two after I took command I spent a lot of time/effort playing this stupid game. I retired and joined a couple different mu's. I got bored and wandered back.

Dr Luis Sentierio. I probably misspelled his name. Sorry DLS if I did. He is now the current commander. He also runs a commune that he paid for personally. He became an XO when I took over and helped me out a ton.

emdoublegee. He was one of the only officers who remained after the events that gave command to me. He became commander upon my retirement.

burfo. A coding master. He was another of the few officers who remained when I took command. He is the creator of Drone. Airforce uses it as a supply bot. Other branches do also. Drone also handles the mcalls for damage on irc. burfo also made a very nice uniform generator for Airforce.

John nwp. He is the current XO of Airforce. He also holds a commune. He does more for Airforce currently than anyone else.

Roper 70. He was the commander before me. He did a lot for Airforce. Before he took command, he ran our training division. He held communes. After he quit Airforce, I still talked to him quite a bit. He was very helpful to me.

eShades. He was the commander before Roper. He probably was the mu's longest serving commander.

Cromstar. He has not been a part of Airforce for a while, but I know he took part in the founding. He spent a lot of time as a senior officer before moving on to RS.

Evry. He is kind of the same as Cromstar from my perspective. He is no longer a member, but spent a lot of time as a senior officer.

Oblige. Was never a member that I know of, but has always been a friend to Airforce. Fairly recently, I saw that Airforce may have a shortage of tanks over a weekend because of people being away. I asked Oblige for a loan, and without a question he sent me way more tanks than Airforce needed.

Divineal. He is a fairly new player. He has risen rapidly based on ability and activity. Airforce is lucky to have him.

Arrden. He remained in Airforce after so many left. He happily took on more duties based on need.

Henry Pffeifer Arundel, GoalieBCSC, and Npaidi also have held Airforce communes for a time.

I'm adding a few after getting some feedback. I have to admit that most of them are my bad. They should have been there in the first place.

Landenor. He ran a ton of communes for a while. For a time he was the main commune. He died. He recently came back to life, and repaid Airforce what was given to him in government funds. He did not have to do this. I'm the only one in Airforce that remembered him, and it is very possible that no one from higher up in the government did.

Hekter. He served as commander between Stephen and eShades. The mu was renamed Airforce under his command.

Cerb. I got him from feedback. He was important in the founding of the mu. I was not there when the mu was created, but I do remember Cerb being elected president while a member of Airforce.

Deerslayer. He served as commander before Firo.

Deificus. The original commander.
