Join the new world

Greetings from your new mayor of Liverpool!

I would first like to thank everyone who voted, with a turnout of around 25% its not as much as I would have liked for but thanks to those that bothered.

Now I am elected the hard work starts now, I will start gifting citizens very soon when I have worked out who is active and needs it. It will only go to active citizens below 95% and also no SO accounts.

Unemployment is what I will be focusing on to start with, in order for the region to grow and expand we need to have as many people as possible working. I will be taking a look at all current citizens, and if they are active and unemployed I will ask a few GMs to try and get you a job. If anyone would like for me to do this anyway you can always PM me and i'll sort you out.

Newer citizens will be welcomed when they join, found a job and helped out in any way I can. If anyone citizen is thinking of setting up a company and want advice about how to do so, the work it involves etc. then message me and I'll be glad to help out. My campaign was based on helping Liverpool improve and by working together we can ensure that we do so.

I would also like to offer a place on the regional council to a citizen. I have already messaged a couple of people I would like to be on it but I would also be interested in seeing if anyone else would like to take part. To apply please message me with why you would like to be on it and what you could bring to the region.

I am having an open question and answer session on the [a url=http://www.erepublik.co.uk]UK forum[/a] for any Liverpool citizen (or otherwise) to ask me any questions at all. I encourage all Liverpool citizens who haven't done so already to join the forum. This is a great opportunity for newer members to find out a bit more about what I wish to accomplish for the region, anything about me or about eRepublik.

Throughout my mandate I will be holding a few competitions. One of which should be starting shortly so keep an eye on this paper for future information.
