AHC ~ Vacation Pay for Employees

The Atlantic Housing Company has decided to institute a vacation policy to all current and future employees. We hope this helps those employees out with real life issues that may arise and give some assistance financially. This is completely open for debate and we'll gladly try to accommodate the needs of our employees as much as possible. Below is the accumulation plan for vacation days and the process to request pay for this time off.
Accumulation:
For every 2 weeks of being with the Atlantic Housing Company we will give 1 day of vacation pay. Presence is not a factor in this as we have a very strict policy of presence that we enforce. (Ex: Employee has been with the company 1 month they will have 2 paid days of vacation).
Process for Receiving Vacation Pay:
1.) Email atlanticinvestmentcorporation@gmail.com the following information:
Date you will not be at work
Date you will return to work
Working Since Date
Salary
(We will check the information against your company info.)
2.) We will send a confirmation email that your vacation has been approved and we will inform you the amount you shall receive in vacation pay.
3.) The day of your planned vacation, you may either resign from the company or we will release your account. (This is for tracking purposes for us and allows us to continue getting presence bonuses from other employees.)
4.) You will then be sent a job offer so when you are ready to come back, you can just join the company back immediately. If for some reason the in game Message system wipes out the message, email us or PM us when you are back. Your current pay will be re instituted.
5.) Once you are back at work, your vacation pay will be paid at the time of your arrival back to the company in full.
FAQ:
What if I have 3 days of vacation and only use 1 day of vacation, do I only get paid for 1 day and have 2 days left to take?
When you return to work we will pay you for 3 days of vacation even though you are gone for 1 day. Because your Worked Since resets. And you will begin a new cycle of vacation days.

Agree with TL, you guys are great. And thanks for considering the suggestion.
Your idea was grand Eugene. We wanted to have a way to help employees out with RL and assist some financially. I think this is going to be a great tool! As always we have an open door policy and any comments, suggestions or questions are welcome.

And then we have the problem of not knowing when we might not be able to get on...like with the problem of no electricity/Internet caused by weather. What would happen then? No, I don\'t work with your housing company, but just had that question.
When you return you would just message us that you would like you use your vacation days to cover the past X numbers of days that you were unable to work. We would verify that you didn\'t work on those days and that you have enough vacation time to cover them, you would quit the company and rejoin, be reimbursed, and the vacation time begins accumulating again.
