Age Concern

Day 747, 11:19 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by BruiseCorp.org

Yes, t'is the season to be jolly. In my vast experience of playing (ooh about 5 weeks) I've encountered many wonderful, and many not so wonderful things.

I am but a young eCitizen, but an aging RL'er. Yes, I've done the uni thing, degree, post-grad, marriage, mortgage, 2 kids and border collie thing. Yet I still struggle with an number of issues.

A fellow of my advancing years is left a little behind in the parlour of the current generation. Am looking for some (kindly) comments so I can wade through the mire of jargon that often presents itself to me.

Explain for me if you will......

FAIL - does this mean I can no longer play eRepublik?

FAILMAXX - should I? He seemed fine to me last time we chatted.

TROLL - the wife's mother?

TARD - spelling issues? Tarred?

LULZ - surely a spelling mistake for lulls? Lulls his fellow Party members into a false sense of security?

TEH - 2 sugars in mine, please.

FTW - Airport code for Fort Worth, Texas.

PWN - I apparently get PWN'D quite a bit in this game. I'm sure it's a good thing.

PTO - Please Turn Over. Or Off. Depending on who's talking.

So kindly comments will certainly help me out in this maze of verbal trickery.
And just a gentle thought. Erepublik's still a game, right?!
