Aftermath of an Election

Day 2,755, 06:12 Published in Armenia Armenia by ChievoKevin

From the start, I would like to clarify that this article is tongue in cheek

Like every month, we had the usual presidential elections.
We had 4 candidates
Chievo Kevin 14 votes
Arslan Tegin 6 Votes
theKoki 2 votes
xBum 5 votes
(Note, no votes were erased)

Naturally, my preference was for my party president and long time friend Chievo Kevin; on the other hand, while I don’t really know him, I had some sympathy for Arslan Tegin, due to his using as his Avatar, the photo of my favourite football player, “the Uncrowned King”. Unfortunately for him, the election results were pretty lopsided.

I thought a bit about the results, and reached the conclusion that their election failure was due to a mild case of Schizophrenia on their part.
Allow me to explain.
First of all, look at these two articles:
http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/burasi-azerbaycan-2526642/1/20
http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/azerbaycan-2527793/1/20

Here we see propaganda of their favourite country. Fine, everybody is free to like or dislike what he wants, but when I look at my country, I still see the same flag, same name, so ... much ado about nothing.

Next if we look at the candidacy article, we see the same propaganda:

BUT
wait a bit, go read the comments and …

Bizimle yürü Armenia !

Walk with us Armenia !

HUH ?????
I thought you denied this here was Armenia?

Anyways, let’s go forward a bit and read a post from last night

Again, a reference to Armenia, this time for an Armenian citizen.

Sorry guys, but I really can’t see how you, on the one hand, seek the presidency of a country, and on the other hand, deny its existence. Either this or that, can’t have both. IF you have doubts about your country of citizenship, I’m here to help. Click on your profile, the 2nd flag under your avatar shows it. Easy, no?

On a more serious note, I thank everybody who voted for Chievo Kevin.
