Join the new world

OK I'm late, sue me. Frankly I never seen doing this coming and was rather a last second option. I've sat back the last couple months working more heavily on RL and taking a 2 clicker stance to erepublik. Doesn't mean I ignored it entirely as I have a MU to moniter orders for but I limited my involvement to a watcher's place. I watched my party and was quite fine with the directions they were headed and where they were going. My hat off to Mazzy for doing a great job.

On the opposite end of this scale, not from leadership but from others I have noticed a push towards more established lines. Now obviously for anyone who as ever read anything I've wrote will know I'm not a conformist. I may not be a grand rebel either however I do have my own brain and I will use it. I have never been one bound long to party politics in the past until I joined WTP. The reason for this was allowed to do what I thought was right with no pressure. To top that off many of the 'radicals' for lack of a better word also wound up here.

Often I have described WTP as the real opposition and I have my reasons for it. I have been disheartened by the entire unity process and the results it has allowed to bring. Many also hold this view however being disenchanted is no excuse for being stupid. While often times myself and some of my friends may be seen as rebellious I support the underlying reasons, we are not sheep and while we can often support the logic of agreement for protectionism, it doesn't mean we have to be happy about it.

Anyway enough of the psychological ramblings on to the real crap.

The last month many things have come to light and I feel revealing towards the future. SPQR was flat out rejected. WTP members do not want to be treated like sheep and be herded into a mindset led by few. Mazzy Cat and Mike Ontry found a wonderful way to make the party members more involved and have a say beyond traditional means. I wish to continue with their effort as to me this is one of the best ideas towards player retention. Not everyone slants their views to only play the game one way and by being flexible in this is one of the best ways to reach out and raise involvement.

The overall of this is simple, I like where we are going as a party. If anything should be changed we could be a little crazier. Fun, this is a game. I don't have a long list of promises nor any crazy hopes or dreams, what I do have is the ability to think and that can be scary enough in itself. So a simple platform with no grand promises.

I will listen to you.
I will talk to you.
I will not be a sheep but rather try to look at the grander scope and what is best for those I represent overall.

It isn't flashy but it's real.
