ADP: No Spies in the House!

Day 2,897, 02:49 Published in Australia Australia by JackTrout

G’day peoples!

Well, it has been an interesting week for the ADP. Not everyone has been informed of all that’s been going on, so I’m going to remedy that here and now.

Just over a week ago, I noticed an unfamiliar name- Imran Khan 2- running for congress via the ADP. So I looked at his profile, and found some interesting information. You can look for yourself here:

http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/8655134

First, the guy was e-born on 21st February 2015. His strength: 27. No medals of any kind. His only damage shown was 33k for Germany.

When I first checked his profile, he had only 2 friends. One was Legend Nospan, and the other was Imran Khan 1, who shared not just Imran Khan 2’s name, but his e-birthday:

This raised some questions for me, so I sent a PM to ask them- maybe there were perfectly acceptable reasons for these things:

When 2 days passed with no answers forthcoming, I ticketed admins. The ticket and their reply:

I mentioned those actions in the congress thread, and notified the ADP. I requested more ADP candidates for congress:

ADP members alerted me to the fact that there was at least one additional Imran Khan in the e-world. You saw ^ the admins' response to my ticket.

At that point, I notified all top 5 eAustralian political party presidents about the situation, and requested they put up as many congressional candidates as possible. Also, I requested that they each send a candidate to the ADP if possible, to ensure we could avoid having an obvious multi representing us in congress.

A game rule was mentioned, that only 20 candidates could be included from any one party. At that time, the ADP had 20 candidates up, including the apparent multi.

LanyisLost graciously offered to shift parties and provide the 21st candidate, an offer that I consider the height of e-patriotism and selflessness.

As it happens, that rule had been changed some time ago.

As it happens- and I still don’t know what convinced them- admins reversed their decision, and Imran Khan 2 is now permanently banned.

This threat to eAustralian security no longer exists. This has proven to be a great display of solidarity in both my party and my e-country, and I am proud of both!

I thank all the members of the ADP, including Lany (at least for the moment 🙂 ) who came together to take action on this issue. Many thanks also to the top 5 party presidents and officers who offered their ideas and assistance.

I hope this clears up any lingering confusion. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to PM me.

My congratulations to all eAussies elected to the new congress term. Serve well, friends.

Cheers,

JackTrout
