Actually Dispelling Some Propaganda

Frankly, I’m a little tired of having to do this every day now. I’ve been told by Ajay Bruno that I take this game too seriously, and yet, I’m not the one running constant articles and PMs accusing someone of being a leftist PTOer because they disagree with me.

Yet, I will press on. No pun intended. So I will dispel the propaganda in Ajay’s most recent propaganda article.

Myth 1
Ajay Bruno: “They try to say that it's just because they don't like me, yet i've offered to withdraw my name if Leith leaves and the PTO threat dissipates, but yet they persist.”

Jaxon’s response:
The other day, I actually resigned from the Party Presidential race after Ajay promised to withdraw as well. That’s right folks, despite my 2 gold investment in the future of this party, I withdrew assuming someone like Stiles would have a chance at the party president position. After having withdrawn, Ajay reneged on his promise and did not withdraw. So, I spent another 2 gold to throw my name back in. That’s how committed I am to this party. I have not resorted to lying and broken promises to stay in power.

Myth 2
Ajay Bruno: “I am sure you have seen the "support" he has, which is among those of OTHER parties.”

Jaxon’s response: After a PM campaign I enacted the other day, I was able to show several people the truth about this race and about Mr Bruno. Needless to say, they changed their vote to Jaxon Leith. I have considerable support within the CVP and hope to see that support grow.

Myth 3
Ajay Bruno: “I have never once threatened a member of this party for disagreeing with me or criticizing me.”

“You may have heard from Jaxon Leith and his supporters that I am "intimidating" members of the party. This is anything but the truth.”

Jaxon’s response: Funny, my PM inbox is full of several people that would disagree. They said that after Mr Bruno’s poll, they received PMs asking why they weren’t voting for Ajay. I chose not to publish this in a newspaper at the time, but Ajay’s lies have forced my hand.

Myth 4
Ajay Bruno: “I have always been honest with the members of this party.”

Jaxon’s response: Then why have you told them I’m a leftist PTOing their party when the truth is almost the exact opposite? I think your actions speak for themselves in this case.

Myth 5
Ajay Bruno: “or do we want to "apologize" to Mattoze5 when he's the reason the ex-cvp members in this party left in the first place? Do we cant centrism or Conservatism? Do we want a name that proudly states that we are in it to win it or our party made a mockery of? Do we want the proud CVP eagle and the red white and blue that envelopes it representing our party or do we want to be rebranded?”

Jaxon’s response: I will do none of these things. I’m not apologizing to Mattoze5. I will be issuing a press release apologizing for the misguided actions of Mr Bruno to ALL of the party presidents. People have a right to switch parties, but party presidents have no right to tell outright lies to members of other parties to coax them into joining a new one. If this happened regularly, the biggest liar of them all would get the most votes. Elections would be about who could cheat and lie the most. The party presidents are right to feel slighted by Mr Bruno and the CVP will have no serious voice in politics until these actions are denounced. Furthermore, I do not seek to change the ideology of the party. I am a serious conservative who believes strongly in our principles, but I disagree with the way the current party president is pushing his agenda. The ends do not justify the means. I think this answers the rest of the questions Mr Bruno asked.


In short, I ask you again not to simply accept what Mr Bruno says as true, because more often than not, it’s political rhetoric. Please PM me and ask any questions I haven’t answered, and I guarantee you’ll find I’m not a leftist PTOer who wants to take your voice away. I want to build this party into a political force that can withstand the attacks of PEACE and I need your help to do it.
