Crowdedhouse, I can love you and hate you at the same time.

For example, your media mogul article made me happy for you, for such an achievement but after reading the article, I gagged.

And of course, I completely had to agree with you on this;

I'm a Real Life Australian and one of the things us Australians value highly is Sportsmanship.

That is, you go into battle with your opponent, you play fair and if they beat you, you shake hands and say "Good game mate".

However, what we HATE the most, is when an opponent cheats.

We saw the ruling of the Western Australia Incident not that long ago. It not only cheesed off Australians, but also a number of players world-wide as the rules were not upheld.

After our grumble, we shrugged it off, got on with it and won back Western Australia - all playing fairly.

A win is just not right without doing it fairly. It doesn't feel the same. Therefore we, and I personally, always ensure to play by the rules.

AWESOME INTRODUCTION.... until you ultimately admitted you'll become a stinking filthy lowlife Indonesian scumbag to fight fire with fire.

SCREW THAT. Let them impeach widdows9000. Let them, wait for it... changes taxes and things! (oh my!)

Let them think they are weakening us to the point that they could beat us for WA, which is of course a Aus vs. Indo +9 allies fight (ROFL... why not just... attack???).

Even if they get WA... we'll get it back.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT



At the risk of being labeled the John Farnham of eAustralia, I would like to announce my return to politics. However... it's not the return you would expect. Long gone is the trailblazing, ass-whooping awesomeness in leadership... I intend from now to step aside and play a backend, supportive role.

Whilst my "persona" (approach) previously was good at cutting through red tape, and getting people to listen to the truth, instead of their own egos... most importantly I think it inspired our newer citizens to believe we are led by characters akin to legend and godliness.

The benefits of this change are many. I feel I neglected my duties somewhat as a mentor, too busy fixing, when I should've been teach people how to fix. I think towards the end there, my approach made me impatient and less tolerant. I has hammering opposition with a heavy fist of awesome, but really I should've been patting their soft, pliable unripened heads ("there, there, Uncle Cottus will help... sounds creepy!).

So without further ado...

HECK YES! If Aussies are to fight the good fight, it will involve party politics, and membership. We've got about 1 month to have an all-Aussie top 5, and frankly, I'd rather it not be done with lulz parties like the More Beer Party!

A suggestion came my way (the person would rather remain nameless, as the are in fact a new "rightie" eAussie) that for new players, there are not used to the politics of eRepublik. Instead, they bring with them their RL ideas, and knowledge of the RL political spectrum.

So when we don't have a traditional centre-left vs centre-right mentality, how many of the new centre-leftians think "to hell with those commie pinkos, and capitalist pigs, I just won't join a political party!".

Well, as we've seen... not joining a political party kinda became the done thing, and we left ourselves vulnerable to a PTO.

So... all you centre-leftians!! THE ADSP IS BACK... JOIN TODAY!

LET'S SUPPORT A TOP 5 OF ACP, ADSP, AI, ANP & AMP... a perfect political spectrum for that's completely identifiable for our young!

As much as I admire the spirit of Cottus Arci wanting to bring back the ADSP to bring Australia to life, it's not the right thing to do.

I hinted in my articles a month ago, and it's even more true now, the new fresh blood must now take the lead. The days of the ADSP are over. It was yesterday's party. It served the nation well, had many great heroes and Prime Minister, but we shouldn't go back to the past.

Umm... I already said that in this very article!

Look at Indonesia... PRM, PReI, PKI, PKS are all old.
