Saudações, meus caros leitores. Finalmente regresso, depois de uma viagem pelo Reino Unido. Assim, deixo aqui uma nova e muito especial edição do The Global Moustache. Pedimos desculpa pela grande quantidade de “old news”, mas como já se aperceberam, estive ausente do jogo. Portanto, esta edição irá falar de alguns acontecimentos destas passadas semanas, assim como outros mais recentes. Mais uma vez irá incluir uma tradução para Inglês, de forma a facilitar a leitura dos nossos leitores estrangeiros… Assim, temos muitos temas que discutir, alguns deles verdadeiramente vergonhosos, como é o caso do seguinte:


Milhares de bots atacam a eArgentina


Como se pode facilmente constatar através do Login Screen, a eArgentina é agora o país com a terceira maior população. Mas que raio de babyboom milagroso se passou na minha ausência!? Bem, qual foi o meu nojo quando descobri que se tratam de multies ePolacos. Bots criados para prejudicar a eArgentina.


Um hospital onde nascem bebés ePolacos. Estes bebés são extremamente perigosos e devem ser eliminados assim que possível.

Infelizmente, a ePolónia continua a insistir em fazer o papel de SkyNet e tentar usar bots para derrotar os seus rivais, quebrando assim as regras deste jogo. Este país não se apercebe do precedente grave que está a abrir com estas acções. No final, cada batoteiro tem aquilo que merece e, se não for graças aos admins (que muito provavelmente preferem ficar sentados a contar o seu dinheiro enquanto inventam novas maneiras de chular os jogadores), será graças a alguns utilizadores mais revoltados, que possuam meios para dar à ePolónia a provar do seu próprio veneno.

O The Global Moustache aguardará ansiosamente por desenvolvimentos em relação a este tema e espera que estes golpes baixos saiam mais caro à ePolónia do que a contratação do Roberto saiu ao Benfica. Mas agora, avancemos para boas notícias.


Novos membros da Phoenix





É com orgulho que reparei que a eFrança e a eUcrânia se juntaram à grande aliança. Como sabemos, a eFrança recuperou o seu país contra a ocupação da eEspanha e a ePolónia, graças a esforços conjuntos de membros da Phoenix e pouco faltava para eles abandonarem a falecida aliança Entente e se juntarem a nós. O mesmo pode ser dito em relação aos eUcranianos que viram uma ofensiva eRomena contra ao seu país. Felizmente a eHúngria conseguiu defender os interesses eUcranianos, funcionando como catalizador para a entrada da eUcrânia na nossa aliança 😉

Novos aliados juntam-se ao eReino Unido, contra o eCanadá

Como foi referido no nosso último artigo, o eCanadá lançou uma ofensiva gigantesca contra o eUK. Contando com algum apoio eAmericano, assim como a larga vantagem concebida pela diferença entre fusos horários, o eCanadá conseguiu rapidamente conquistar bastantes regiões eBritánicas, alcançando a fortaleza de Londres, única região valiosa do eReino Unido, onde se encontra a maioria das suas empresas. O Presidente do eReino Unido, John Bartlett, assim como o seu vice-presidente caíram na inactividade, factor esse que prejudicou bastante o seu país.

Infelizmente para a EDEN, agora que Jamesw comanda o eReino Unido, estes rapidamente se adaptaram às jogadas eCanadianas. Além disso, a entrada da eFrança na Phoenix resultou no envio do exército eFrancês que rapidamente virou a balança a favor do eReino Unido, impedindo a iminente queda de Londres e forçando o eCanadá a bater em retirada para o Norte do país. À medida que o povo Canadiano se sentia injustiçado, graças à falta de apoio da EDEN (que os deixou sozinhos contra dois países), eis que a eHolanda entra nesta guerra do lado do eUK.

Tendo em conta que o eCanadá não tem guerra aberta contra a eHolanda, estes podem atacar e proteger algumas regiões eBritánicas, servindo assim de barreira contra os eCanadianos, cansados e empobrecidos.


Esta é a segunda vez que a conquista de Londres falha. “No matter how many times you try, you cannot shoot the dog”. No offense to the UK. =3

No entanto, o eCanadá mostrou alguma honra no meio desta guerra, ao declarar um cessar-fogo no dia das eleições, para que a eFrança se pudesse concentrar no combate à ameaça de TakeOver da ePolónia, iminente no seu país. A eFrança conseguiu derrotar mais uma vez o TO, mas a imagem do eCanadá ficou gravemente abalada por ter ajudado um inimigo a combater um TO orquestrado por um país aliado. O nosso obrigado para o eCanadá 😉


O grande ataque ao Urso Soviético


Há umas semanas, a EDEN finalmente decidiu dar uso aos seus MPPs e lançou um assalto sem precedentes à eRússia, através de um ataque vindo do Alaska. Através da nova marioneta da eChina, a eCoreia do Norte, os eChineses e os ePolacos juntaram-se ao ataque e as regiões de Far Eastern Russia, Eastern Siberia e Western Siberia caíram frente aos eAmericanos, eChineses e ePolacos respectivamente.

A eRússia é um dos motores económicos da Phoenix e é imperativo que estas regiões sejam imediatamente reconquistadas. Uma resistance war que acabou hoje, conseguiu afastar os eAmericanos da Província de Far Eastern Russia. Os ianques fugiram para os confins gelados do Alaska, mas o Urso Soviético decidiu persegui-los lançando um ataque em solo americano.

No entanto, os eChineses e ePolacos ainda ocupam territórios importantes na eRússia e expulsa-los não será uma tarefa fácil. Felizmente, os eRussos contam com o apoio importante dos seus aliados eSérvios que, a partir de Liaoning, lançaram um ataque à ex-Provincia chinesa de Inner Mongolia, ocupada pela ePolónia. Caso os eSérvios consigam derrotar a EDEN nesta província, terão acesso a Eastern Siberia (ocupada pela eChina), de onde poderão atacar a ePolónia em Western Siberia, num duelo 1 contra 1, libertando assim toda a eRússia. O The Global Moustache naturalmente acompanhará esta guerra, esperançoso que a Mãe Rússia consiga recuperar os territórios perdidos.

12th Edition, 1011st day of the New World

Greetings, my dear readers. I finally return to eRepublik, after a long trip through the United Kingdom. Therefore, I give to you a new and very special Global Update of The Global Moustache. We apologize for the big amount of “old” news, but as you have certainly realised, I have been away for quite some time. So, this edition will discuss some events of the past weeks, along with some more recent ones. And once again, because you guys deserve it, it will include an English translation 😉 Anyways, we have a lot of topics to talk about, some of them shameful, such as this one:


eArgentina under attack by thousands of Bots


As you can easily see in the login screen, eArgentina is now the country with the third highest population. But… what on earth happened? Is this a miraculous babyboom that happened while I was away? Well, I was disgusted when I found out that these babies are simply ePolish multies. Bots created to sabotage eArgentina.

Unfortunately, ePoland continues insisting on playing the role of Skynet, by using bots to defeat (or severely weaken) their enemies, thus breaking the rules established in this game. This country simply doesn’t realize the storm that they are brewing. In the end, every cheater gets what they deserve and, if it isn’t thanks to the Admins (who most probably prefer to sit down and count their money, while thinking of better methods to steal from the players), it will be thanks to some angry players, with enough means to give ePoland a taste of their own medicine. And when that happened, complaining will be of no use.

The Global Moustache looks forward to seeing how this situation will develop and wishes the best of luck for eArgentina.


New Members in Phoenix





It is with pride and great happiness that I have notice that eFrance and the eUkraine have joined the Great Alliance. As we know, Phoenix efforts were vital in the eFrench resistance wars against eSpain and ePolish occupation. Many military victories were achieved with our eFrench allies and little else was needed for them to abandon the fallen Entente and join Phoenix. The same can be said about the eUkrainians who have recently suffered an eRomanian invasion against Podolia. Fortunately, eHungary managed to defend them and this helped convincing the eUkrainians about joining PHOENIX 😉 Best of luck for both countries, especially my loved eFrance ❤.


New Allies Join the eUK against eCanada


As we had informed in our last article, eCanada launched an enourmous assault on the British Isles. Counting on eAmerican support, as well as the large advantage granted by the difference in time-zones, they managed to quickly conquer many eBritish regions, reaching the borders of their fortress region of London. London is inarguably the most valuable British region, where the majority of their companies are located. The eBritish president has unfortunately been inactive and that factor has seriously hindered the eBritish military.

Unfortunately for EDEN, now that Jamesw commands the eUK, the eBritish have quickly adapted to the eCanadian tricks and use their own to counter-attack. Also, the entrance of eFrance in Phoenix culminated in an operation by the eFrench military who has managed to tip the scales in favour of the eUK, by protecting the borders of London before it could fall and forcing eCanada to retreat to the Northern regions. As the eCanadian people started suffering from the attrition of fighting two countries (as well as feeling abandoned due to the lack of aid from their allies), the eNetherlands decided to join this war, aiding their British friends.

Since eCanada doesn’t have an open war against the eNetherlands, the eDutch can attack and protect some eBritish regions, acting as an efficient barrier against eCanadians, who are tired and weakened by this prolonged, fruitless war.


This is the second time that EDEN has failed in conquering London. “No matter how many times you try, you cannot shoot the dog”. No offense to the UK. =3

On the other hand, eCanadá managed to show some honor in the middle of this war, by declaring a cease-fire in the party election day, so that eFrance could concentrate their efforts on fighting an ePolish, TakeOver threat. eFrance managed to defeat this takeover attempt but apparently, EDEN High Command didn’t really approve of this eCanadian attitude, since they helped an enemy with fighting a TO created by an allied country. Our most sincere thanks to eCanada 😉.


The Great Assault against the Soviet Bear


Some weeks ago, EDEN finally decided to use their open MPPs and launched a huge assault against Mother Russia, through an attack that came from Alaska, against the region of Far Eastern Russia. Using the new eChinese puppet, eNorth Korea, the eChinese and ePoles joined this attack and, after a couple of battles, the regions of Far Eastern Russia, Eastern Siberia and Western Siberia fell against the eAmericans, eChinese and ePoles respectively.

eRussia is one of the economic powerhouses of Phoenix and it is imperative that these regions get retaken immediately. A Resistance War that just finished today managed to retake the Region of Far Eastern Russia from the greedy hands of the eAmericans. The Yankees escaped to the coldest reaches of Alaska but the Soviet Bear decided to persued them, by launching an attack on eAmerican soil.

On the other hand, the eChinese and ePolish still occupy important territories in eRussia and forcing them to retreat won’t be an easy task. Fortunately, eRussia has the help of their eSerbian allies who, from their Mega-Fortress in Liaoning, managed to launch an attack against the former Chinese province of Inner Mongolia, now occupied by ePoland. If the eSerbs manage to defeat EDEN in this region, they will have access to Eastern Siberia (occupied by eChina), from where they will be able to attack ePoland at Western Siberia, in an 1 on 1 battle, thus freeing the Motherland. The Global Moustache will naturally follow this war with Great interest, hoping that Mother Russia managed to recover their Great country back.
