Activity Rates
Nosyt
Ever look at the population of the top countries and wonder how accurate they are? eRepublik can keep track of how many players are registered and display these on the statistics, but they don’t include how many of these players are actually active. Out of curiosity and boredom I have spent the past few hours analyzing in hopes of discovering just how many active citizens the top ten countries have. To do so I just added up the population of all a countries citizens who have wellness above 40. So here’s the new stats that I’ve uncovered.
1. eUnited States= 6800 active citizens/ 22000 registered citizens= 31% activity rate
2. eIndonesia= 8500/15200=56%
3. eHungary= 7200/14200=50%
4. eRomania= 6200/13500=46%
5. eUnited Kingdom:1600/8600=19%
6. eCanada:1700/5400=31%
7. eCroatia 1400/5100=27%
8. eSpain:1200/4700=26%
9. eBrazil:1500/4300=35%
10. ePolan😛
1500/4200=36%
Therefore, in terms of active citizens at least, the stats should look something like this:
1. eIndonesia:8500
2. eHungary:7200
3. eUnited States:6800
4. eRomania:6200
5. eCanada:1700
6. eUnited Kingdom:1600
7. eBrazil:1500
8. ePolan😛
1500
9. eCroatia 1400
10. eFrance 1300
Please note that these are all approximate figures, simply because I do not have access to the proper information to conjure up a precise figure.

Thank you man! These are useful statistics. I also spend quite a bit of time on eGobba’s World Map and find it a very useful tool. All in all we're not doing too bad for participation. More stats please.
Like what? I don't mind doing menial tasks so if there's another type of statistic you'd like me to look up just ask 😛
This is very relevant information and I hope more people get a chance to see this.
If the article doesn't go far methinks I'll end up posting the info on the eCanadian forums
Is there any way to track population and activity rates over time? I'm thinking more in terms of a graph that measures pop/activity per day, week, or month. With citizens and entire armies moving about to different war zones, it is hard to determine the core active population of nations.
...or you could record the data each day for the next few months. Wouldn't that be fun!
That's a great idea, and I think I'll have to comply. I've also been collecting the worldmaps offered by eRep and I hope to publish a movie on youtube showing how it's changed over time, but they update it so rarely that I may not have enough maps to get it out until a year or two 🙁
It might be better to just use eGobba's map for that purpose as well.
I would, however it's not a simple copy and paste, and I don't know how to take screenshots
31%? not bad
this is good but what about the people that had recently battled and are just below 40 wellness at the time or the ones who have just joined and have wellness hovering close to 40 since they are not smart enough to buy foor higher qualtity 1 and have no house
like I said approximate estimates, I also tended to round up in my results in hopes of compensating for such instances, however as I've said, they are very approxiamte
The only problem is that 40% wellness is not a good value to use to determine 'activity'. Many countries - Romania, Hungary - people are fighting often down to 15% health, just to win battles. You'd really have to have stats on last login in days, perhaps. Maybe no login in four days, and one is not counted.
Do you mind if I borrow theses stats for a paper in the eUSA? I'll credit you in the article.
I've got no problem with it, just glad to spread the info 😃
(oops, forgot about being signed in as my citizen profile and all, Pangean Foundation=Nosyt 😛)
It's true XD
"Many countries - Romania, Hungary - people are fighting often down to 15% health, just to win battles."
How is that even possible?
Rofl, good point Plugson.
Oh Plugson the romanians have a special attack it takes 25 Wellness and does 3x damage, but you can only do it when your below 40W and have 2Q5 1Q1 3Q2 and 2Q3 in that order in your inventory, its a big pain but they do do it often, just ask Mesther.
Really?!?! (I hope that doesn't sound mighty gullible, because you never know with all the bugs these days 😛)
well you have to press up up down down left right left right a b a as well obviously.
