Join the new world

Greetings Comrades and Friends of the Socialist Brotherhood,
We gather here at this meeting tonight, to hear the words of historic wisdom spoken be those who will influence the Government in this upcoming term. It is my pleasure and privilege to head and organise such devoted individuals in our advancement for a better and more equal eLife! The start of my term has not lifted off the ground yet, due to some unexpected access difficulties, but with this election we shall strike a blow directly to the heart of the beast. Now, enough of my mere veneer of rhetoric; let us directly engage the issues at hand and listen to find out about our hopeful Senators party lines.

It is important, at this junction, that we're all individuals and have different opinions on how to implement our ideas, but we're all agreed on these main issues. These issues are:

-Economy and GozPlan-
Have you ever gone to the marketplace to buy Q4 food and found that it isn't available? Have you ever looked longingly for a house and found nothing on the market? These problems are caused by the holes in the so called “free market”. To rectify this issue, the ACP pushes for more accountable government companies, in all sectors, that would provide reliable and cheap services to the benefit of our most noble people. This does not mean that we propose to outlaw the ability to found and run your own company, but more as a safe and secure method of developing jobs and eLife advancement.

-Defence and Foreign Affairs-
Due to the magnificent work of the Communist Ministers, Widdows9000 and Deilos, we were able to achieve one of our long hoped for goals. The democratic military model was developed and implemented in the formulation of ACAR. So far, it seems to have worked swimmingly and has developed further with the experience gained from our current war games. I also state here, that the military is in no ways controlled by any politics (so no learned elders of zion conspiracies exist); the only goal is equality.

On the next note of contention, we are somewhat spread in opinions. However, I have decided to stick with the older means of diplomacy and intend for this to be our platform. We believe in maintaining close, strong, and good relations with our near neighbour, Indonesia. The continuance of our diplomatic missions is a high priority and we must stand firm on our desire for a united nation. This will mean that patience will be required and a further understanding of each others cultures should be developed. As a side note, it would be beneficial, at the end of negotiations and final return of land, that we should join together and become true partners and allies. Having said that though, as a whole, we do not support the idea of Australia joining any current alliance blocks, as there would be no benefit. On a more global scale, I think we should start fostering closer ties to other nations. In particular, those nations who really seek the benefit of their own and others peoples. Already, we communists, have joined hands with other familiar parties in unity of such a purpose. You can see it all here yourself and help us out.

Finally, we can some up all our beliefs and ideals in three simple words:
Democracy, Equality, and Liberty
But to elaborate further, we support the public services, such as Medicare and Housing. Indeed, we would like to see that sector expanded and the services extended to all who need it, not just to special project workers. The ACP will also be encouraging more political debate in all forms, due to a perceived lassitude, with the complete rejection of censorship.

Now, I know that during the last couple of elections we have suffered some setbacks, but with our new line-up and my organisational skills, we intend to clamour and fight for the public's attention. We are also deciding on how aggressive to be in the next bid for the seat of PM, considering even a break with the ADSP. Indeed, we might even run ourselves, just to give the people a real voice in their own destiny.
