Abuse and a welcome to the S(w)erbish multis

Day 1,010, 18:13 Published in Sweden Sweden by Valnad
This article will be written in English, to celebrate the birth of our new, s(w)erbish multis and because my serbish is a bit rusty. Nevertheless - welcome, cheers, hoo-f-ing-ray and so on.

eRepublik suffers a LOT from the fact that its monetary system not only allows for traceless transactions to take place with such ease, but also because it encourages corrupt players to destroy the fun for every honest player in the pbase who just wants to enjoy the game.

Let us be thankful that most multis and bots are controlled by brainless retards who aren't clever enough to just settle with a few easy bucks every now and then and stick with a low profile.

Let's make one example, just for the fun of it:

Ruslan Kosatka - a reknown MM-abuser and gold-hoarder.

This dude has probably been reported about a million times already. Yet he pops up with new bids all the time on top of pretty much every MM out there. Regardless of what the hour is, and which market you're looking at, he's there - offering his services in exchange for some hard earned gold.

Where do you think this gold ends up?

Well, let's have a look at his donations first. That leaves us with (at least) 4 suspicious accounts:

1. Ruslan Kosatka - born day 954
- Donates items on a regular basis to the other three. My guess is food and maybe a ticket or two.

2. Vladimir Zhitomirskij - born day 957
- Gives all his gold and spare currency to Ruslan, 9g so far.
- Employed by the same company the same day and working same hours as Lesja.
- Only has friends within this group.

3. Kotovskiy - born day 965
- Gives all his gold and spare currency to Ruslan, 15g so far.
- Only has friends within this group.

4. Lesja Ukrainka - born day 978
- Donates all her gold and spare currency to Ruslan, 16g so far.
- Employed by the same company the same day and working same hours as Vladimir.
- Only has friends within this group, aside from one random dude.

Now, let's take a sec and be honest with eachother here, shall we?

There are at least 3 multis out of the 4 accounts mentioned above. Anything else is a big, bad, pitiful lie. Keep in mind that these are merely the tracable accounts which rise suspicion. There are several ways of closing a transaction without leaving any trace, so this is probably just the sloppy part of the business. Afterall, who risks getting banned these days anyway? It takes an honest article to earn forfeit points... hoarding gold to sell "off market" is hardly a crime in comparsion to that.

Normally you don't spread actively with your own player account.

This is a rule of thumb, since you don't want the players from the countries which markets you take advantage of to know who you are. Let's just say it's easier to steal candy from kids when they're not looking.

So why do you think Ruslan trades with a player account instead of an org?

Could it be because the currency and gold shows up for orgs but not for players? Could it be because he simply doesn't care if he pisses people off in the countries which markets he abuses, since he's not playing the game for any other reason than to hoard up as much gold as possible so that he has something to sell for irl cash to other players?

Maybe.

But nah, it's probably just me making things up. I'm sure that all of the reports have been read thoroughly and that they've all been looked into and that this is just another attempt of reckless slandering of a perfectly legit account.

So, shame on me.
