AAP's Fantastic Run

Day 413, 07:36 Published in USA Belgium by Konrad Neumann

In a society that is a plurality system (which eAmerica is); the Duverger's law dictates states that the society will favor a two party system, a left and a right leaning party. With only a two party system, the party that has the power will tend to be located in the center. Think of a bell curve. A bell curve is a great way to illustrate the society as most people are politically located towards the center. Therefore, it is hard for any far left or right parties to achieve any significant power.

While some will say that there were more than one left and one right party that has power in the presidential run, but the outcome of the AAP was amazing regardless. The AAP during the month of November suffer a low with low membership as well as low Congressional representation (around 2 percent) due to the Evan Bayh incident. Within a month, they were able to gain more seats making the AAP to 14 percent of Congress. The comeback with in membership and Congress with the addition of the close presidential run demonstrates the great fantastic revival of the party. With the many handicaps such as the low month of November and the political position of the party, to almost winning the election is a great accomplishment for the leaders of the AAP and the party itself.
