A Woxan for President Production: Foreign Policy Post-EDEN and the Military

Day 863, 12:52 Published in USA USA by Woxan

The single largest responsibility of the president is to direct foreign policy. This involves negotiating with allies and enemies alike, using diplomacy when possible and force when necessary. The relationship between the executive and military branches of our government are crucial in achieving our goals. The President must be able to depend on the military to lay down damage and the military needs a reliable diplomat that will ensure they go into battle with funding and allied support required to win. I have talked with NXNW many times, he is a knowledgeable guy, he's easy to work with and he is dedicated to the success of our country. As President, I will work to make sure we have a solid relationship. If something goes wrong or we have an issue, we will talk it out like real GENTLEMEN. I plan to work hand in hand with the military to achieve important American and Allied objectives.

The military is also a cornerstone in the retention if our citizens. While the media is good at keeping people entertained with something to read and talk about, the military gives the average eCitizen something to do, something to be a part of and a role in making America great. After chatting with notable Americans like NXNW and Max McFarland 2 I believe that expanding the military is the best way forward. It's an incredibly positive thing: we do more damage AND we get more citizens to stick around. With this mind, I would like to see the addition of another branch to our military. While cooperating with the JCS and Congress, Max McFarland has said he is willing to help us expand our communes and reduce the costs to our budgets. This could help make another branch for lower strength players a possibility. This will keep more people interested, make America stronger and will be a further testament to our amazing organizational skills.

President PigInZen and the congress have withdrawn the United States from EDEN. Many have asked if I would attempt to rejoin if elected president. The answer is no. While I may disagree for our reasons leaving, I will abide by their decision. We will continue to defend the original regions of EDEN countries we have MPPs with. We will participate in joint operations against PHOENIX when we can and we have committed ourselves to the restoration of Finland to the map.

We intend to explore the possibilities of further cooperation with the Sol alliance. We share key allies, they have shown their willingness to work together with us against PHOENIX and they have demonstrated that they are a formidable alliance. We currently share the mutual goals of reclaiming China's and South Africa's original regions, we will work together with Sol and hopefully others to accomplish this.

For the near term our future lies with the Brolliance, we should work hard to strengthen those existing bonds and lay out shared plans and goals for the immediate future.

We should not attempt to form another super alliance at this time. I believe our relationships and MPPs w/ some EDEN, Sol and Brolliance countries provide us with the security we need at this moment. We have just come out of a large dysfunctional "mega" alliance and I believe we should take time to think about and examine our place in the world before moving forward. Most importantly, we need to form close and lasting bonds that are built on common interest and mutual respect. This will ensure long lasting security and prosperity for America and her allies.
