A week is a long time in Politics....

Day 755, 23:30 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by BruiseCorp.org

Harold Wilson was right (well, with this statement, anyway)....but I wonder if we can expect the drama of last weeks CP elections in the PP elections today? It's certainly going to be one of the most politically interesting days for quite some time in the eUnited Kingdom.

At Level 6, I joined the UKRP and really enjoyed my time there. Seriously good people there. I left a week or two within Winston's arrival as I had some issues with his style of management within the Party and was no longer enjoying the game.

I'd like to think I've made my peace with him. To his credit, he gave the UKRP a bit of a shake-up, gained membership, and inspired Party notables into some serious hot HoC action! I was never convinced about the methods and motivations though. And Winston, please drop the British accents on the podcasts though! Humour is one thing, but it would be like me doing a Spike Milligan/Hitler impression to our German allies. That aside, the podcast is a great idea for presentation. Credit to LordJustice (in his own American voice, extra kudos!) and Wossoo for asking some sensible questions too in one of the recent Churchill prodcasts.

If I were voting UKRP, my vote would be for Raziel Darkheart. As well as being forum-active and a valued MP, he is also a figure of unity within the Party. He answered my questions and always provided sound advice on the forums. Good luck, Raziel.

I'd also like to call all minority Parties into action! We need a forum presence! Some of us only have a small membership and it seems unfair we should be excluded from the forums! I urge you to access the eUK forums and request access. Stuff gets done in the forums, there should be a voice for all. Heck, I'll even do the moderation, admins!

Anyways, good luck to all PP candidates today - it's going to be a good 'un - and the ramifications of it will be felt well into the new decade,I predict!
