A view upon eRomania's war politics (The Ukraine Treason)

Day 1,852, 07:58 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Bogdan Vladuca

So I have recently applied for ambassador in eRomania and eMoldova Republic, and I have heard from people that, in the past, eRomania commited treason and therefore destroyed its chances of being taken seriously when commiting to become an ally. So I started documenting myself upon this problem. A little known fact is that Romania (not eRomania) also "turned its weapons against its allies" in WWII and destroyed Germany's chances of winning the war. As the Radio London said in 1944

"By Romania's war sortie, the flanks of the two german armies in Moldovia have become completely exposed/.../The Germans are losing all oil resources from Ploiesti area. Romania's gesture would be an example to be followed by Bulgaria, Finland and Hungary/.../Romania's deed is an extremely corageous action and it will speed up the end of the war. Germany's stand in the balkans comes close to a frightful disaster/.../By Romania's action, the fate of all balkan countries has been sealed"

What can we understand from this? Two things:

1) The history is written by winners and winners only. The fundamental act made by Romania on the 23rd of August 1944 (Romania's national day for the following 45 years) was treason and nothing else. But this has been regarded as "exemplary" and "corageous" because it distracted Germany's troops from conquering Russia.

2) Romanians are patriots above all. This is a trait commonly shared. The king was Hungary's ally only because of his family's German descendency. Also our prime minister, the Marshall Antonescu kept a close connection to the fuhrer. As soon as Romania saw the possibility of a strategic hit on Germany, they "Jumped on the ally band wagon" because Romania was also allied with Hungary, country that wrongly took Transylvania from Romania and never got along well with.

I would love to make a connection with eRomania's treason against eUkraine because, as I heard from a friend that was fighting in eRomania at the time:

"eUkraine attacked eMoldavia."
"So what?" I asked, "eMoldavia wasn't your ally"
"No, but they are our brothers"

For in reality, Moldavia is just Romania. Same language, same people, same traditions. They are not together because of petty political reasons, but in truth, Basarabia is Romania.

In conclusions, we shouldn't make hasty remarks upon a eCountry's actions without being aware of the real background. I hope this will show to a lot of you the real eRomania.
