A Very Bad Day

Who knew that I could speak Swedish?

23 December, 2009, Day 764 of the New World - Today, citizens and foreign readers, can officially be described as a very bad day. First off, the English version of eRepublik is completely buggy and screwy. If you are reading this, that means you have heard to change your language to something such as Spanish or Swedish, or they fixed the issues. This article is dedicated to answering many problems in detail.

Jilin and the 50% Iron Tax Explained

Today we saw bugs. North Korea's declaration of war stalled for over five hours, and when it finally succeeded we had to act on a time issue. When we finally acted later on in the day, we would have to swap with China to grab Jilin to attack into North Korea - effectively preventing a block that Russia could use to get to Liaoning.

We planned to hold on to Liaoning for a few days to help regenerate our funds from the dying Iranian companies, hence the 50% income tax. The tax was also raised to prevent Americans from investing in a company that would no longer be in the U.S. the next week.

Unfortunately, the game lagged and the bugs within the Presidential Command module caused countless chickens. My Hungarian counterpart, no doubt, also experienced the same issues. Some mock us, saying it was an F5 (also known as "refresh&quot😉 failure, others say the bugs always favor Phoenix. The fact is, the bugs affect everyone. It just so happens that as we won land after land, we finally ran into a few of our own.

Now, an alternative strategy is required to ensure the success of this campaign.

FIGHT RED IN LIAONING
Yeah, this is the actual section.

A resistance war has been started in Liaoning, and must succeed. This means all citizens and non-ordered soldiers are to fight red, for the resistance effective tomorrow. This will return the land to China, where it rightfully belonged before the Iranians took it long ago.

This will make it so Russia does not have the ability to take the United States directly via the initiative mechanics of warfare - among other key strategic reasons. Also, the world is about to blow up, namely Europe, so keep an eye out and do not be distracted by resistance wars and other battles that may be created to prevent you from seeing the true target.

The battle for Liaoning ended via resistance war, and as a result our insurance of China's attack on Liaoning to cancel out a Hungarian one was unnecessary. A big thanks to all those who followed orders, as Hungary is now effectively blocked from any progression into China.

What do we do next?

It is soon to be Christmas Eve, a season when everyone (including myself) spends time with their loved ones and family. This is why that for Christmas Day, we hope not to have any "major" conflicts raging, but Liaoning's ending tomorrow night. I ask that all Americans be able to log in once and fight five times red for Liaoning. If you are able to log in Christmas day, fight ten times in Liaoning on Christmas eve and use Christmas day as a recovery day.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas, and I hope that when everyone returns to activity on the 26th that these bugs are gone and we can continue a respectable war.

Anyone notice that when there were no bugs, we won everything, and the time bugs happened we lost?
Coincidence much?
