A Summary of the Presidential Candidates
Korbin King
This issue of OMG Magazine is brought to you by Olivia Munn of G4TV's "Attack of the Show". If you enjoy high-tech gadgets and sarcastic humor, I recommend the show. This photo is cropped from a photo shoot in Complex magazine and is a recreation of Phoebe Cates' bikini scene in Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
I think our candidates can be summed up in a few short sentences:
Antonio Salgado
He thinks that taxes should be used to regulate the market and the economy. He also "believes" that eThailand can grow as a Welfare state. He thinks that employees and GM's should not suffer tax penalties in order to manipulate the labor pool, but admits that it may be necessary to do so if they remain uncooperative. He also thinks that our treasury in it's current state is sufficient to maintain existing government programs, new government programs and low taxes.
Guy Kilmore
He thinks that government should be limited to Defense and Hospitals as much as possible. He promotes privately subsidized trade agreements that will save taxpayer money. He is opposed to government-run companies in industries that are already thriving in the private sector. He has a tax plan that will keep the wealth of our country in the hands of our citizens and businesses.
ViusSolaris
Who? What? Where?
We all need to decide what kind of country we want to live in. Do we want to live in a house-of-cards Welfare state, or do we want to live in a free market economy? I choose freedom. I'm voting for Guy Kilmore.

I think it's good that you point out that Antonio and Guy have quite different preferences in terms of free market vs. state enterprise. These difference is a fundamental one which, in turn, manifest into many of their proposals.
There also other issues in their policies, which need to be considered too, but this is definitely a major one.
You never disappoint Mr. President. I am in love with Olivia Munn.
@Korbin: I thank you for your support!
@Wisdom: I would be the last to state that my policies or positions are perfect, I am as always, open to criticism and suggestions.
Olivia deserves her own developing nation.
KK, i will continue prefering to talk first with the GMs, of course there are many child ones that try to threat the congress promissing to continue with wage wars.
eThailand needs someone to take control, not sit and watch. It needs a guiding hand to help it thrive only once it's reached the state in which it can support its own life can people sit back and watch what they've put effort into take control of itself.
I wasn't around for the corruption and as such I'd usually refrain from commenting, but eThailand is on the rebound, doing nothing in terms of companies and economy is damning it to try and fail. We want it to try and succeed
@Adst: Those aren't specifics though and we got vagaraties that will result in taking alot of money from our active population. There are few things the government can do to positively manipulate the economy. It is prudent to be cautious. The government has a ton of tools to destroy the economy, that is why there should be a detailed plan of action.
I have offered mine, my supporters have stated their opinions in detail. Antonio has offered some vague ideas, some of these ideas are contradictions.
Expanding your treasury is NEVER a bad idea, and having the mentality that "our treasury can manage what we have going for us at the moment" is flawed, in my opinion, and short-sighted. If you've read my articles on the American economy, which I understand completely is very very different from Thailand's economy, you'll know that increasing taxes, namingly VAT and income, even if just a little bit, will lead to huge results. Increase taxes and you'll get yourself a larger treasury in not just THB, but Gold too. I think that, from these brief paragraphs, both candidates would be great if chosen for their country. It's just a matter of you are pro- or anti- taxation, really, and I'm pro-.
Good luck Guy!, and nice article Korbin.
