A small Project

Objective: Find out the probability of reveiving a rocket.
What we nee😛 To make as many players as possible fill out this FORM.

After getting some insider information from one of the admins {she simply stated that and I believed her... because she said so, obviously! Isn't that credible? Well, she also had a hot profile pic and made very sweet English grammar mistakes that usually Romanians do 🙂, so she must have been an admin }.
I was thinking of asking her [the admin] to be telling me what the real probability density function of GETTING A ROCKET is. But then I though "wait a second... IT WOULDN'T BE FAIR to YOU guys, cause I would know and you wouldn't! (according to the eRepublik rules, I'm not allowed to publish what admins say... and I would get a FP if I publish my insider info)
BUT! Luckily, I CAN propose you something MUCH better (you'd tell me if you crapped your pants after reading this) Consider this Project: Finding out the Probability of getting the Rocket! 🙂 ... Sounds like "Rocket Science" to you? I promise We'll use basic math to do that [50% of the people will understand it], and some of you will get the chance to study (repeat) a little bit of applied math (Binomial Distributions) WHILE enjoying EITHER: Playing eRepublik OR pissing the admins off OR both. (The admins will get really pissed off if we figure out the function, otherwise they wouldn't keep it secretly to themselves, would they?)

The POINT is that if we cooperate we can EASILY give a pretty good estimate of the probabilities of getting any of those items AND even endeavor to make a PMF (probability mass function) and MAKE PREDICTIONS WHEN you are expected to get the Rocket! Would you like to be able to do that? 🙂

So for the very beginning we need to find out as many people willing to cooperate as possible (which involves inter alia shouting a form to your friends, filling out a form with 5 numbers and your eRepublik nick, OR if you're generous like me: write an entire article in your newspaper 🙂 ).

What is needed from you? NOT Much: to report HOW many of EACH of the parts from the bazooka you already have, and make your friends do that too. To check how many parts of the bazooka you already have, you need to check your inventry.
