A sincere goodbye to the New World

with an eAge of 560 days I'm hereby announcing my departure.



No bombshells

First of all, you should not expect an article from me like several other old players recently wrote. I have not used any multies or gold exploits and I haven't been robbing my friends nor have I been plundering my country, though I would've had many opportunities. I hope that with this message you will understand that there are many players like me, many players like you. Many players that don't play this game to boost their Ego (/ePenis), but just like to play a fair and fun game.

I've really enjoyed this game a lot and that has been reflected in the time I've invested in this game, even if it was just chatting on IRC. I've done a lot in my eCareer, within my country and its military, but also within PEACE GC. I've witnessed a large part of the Beta and the rise and fall of several alliances. I've experienced so many great moments, superb times on irc and in the game, especially during war. For everyone's sake, I really hope that Player vs Player combat will be returned into the game. I feel that I've accomplished what I wanted to accomplish. However, I now have to turn my attention to other things and due to the great community here, I know that just working & training won't work.

During this time I've come to know so many great people, so many great players, that I'm not going to make a list of names of everyone I want to say goodbye to. I would certainly forget a few names which I would regret the day after. Therefore, all players who I otherwise would've listed will know that they're being addressed when I say:
