A sad day for eIran

Hi.
I am writing this article as a farewell to our friends and to share our grief.

Today is a great day for our friends, we have returned to France its high wood regions, we have successfully defended Liaoning and the Serbian mainland. It is a glorious day for out alliance.

But alas, the day was not good for eIran. Today, the real-life Iranian government has decided to filter this game, and it is not accessible anymore. Many Iranian citizens will be unable to play, and pretty soon Iran will become a place with almost no (RL Iranian) citizens. Since using anti-filter software has normally resulted in citizens getting banned for using the same ip address (even though officially it is claimed to not be the reason for banning), we are expecting a bunch of banned and dead citizens in the near future.

We are trying to convince the RL government that it is just a game and there is no danger to let us play and remove the censorship, but such pleads have seldom been successful. In any case, there is nothing much that we can do, and our government officials are discussing the options, as some can still play via anti-filter software. I am writing this article as an FYI, because it truly is a sad day for eIran, and so our allies and friends can be prepared for an eRep without eIran. Hopefully one day the site will be unblocked and we can return as a stronger nation. Until that day, we have some tough decisions to make.

My only regret is that us Iranians never got to play the game in their own language, and now they probably will never get to.
