A Run at Congress

Day 516, 22:47 Published in USA USA by Larabic

I am proud to Announce in this paper that i am planning on running for Congress in the upcoming election! I am going to use this opportunity to lay out my personal beliefs and the platform of which i plan on running!

As a member of the independents party I am part of a group of people that have their own beliefs and express them with out fear. I have no strict doctrine to adhere and don't feel the need to vote the party line just because i am told to, no drone here. I will follow what believe is right and stick to my guns for the good of my eState and eCountry.

Economy: Economy is always a touchy subject which stirs many people, it's one of those problems that many can look at and everyone will see something different. I know this, and accept it. Keeping a strong economy is a priority for everyone it can only make us stronger. All I can promise is to keep taxes reasonable and keep the spending down, no need to spend money just because we have it. Recently i started a company and know the hardships of trying to balance making a product at a fair price and taking care of your employees. I know how hard it can be and hope to continue to grow and prosper and help others grow and help them when needed.

Military: These war games have been a blessing for me and for one am glad to see them continue. As a player that started out just before them I am thankful. They provided a boost in learning the intricacies of the game, helped in leveling and made me be able to be very productive at work helping the economy. I for one will be a supporter of more war games, and if not that then assisting our allies. Keep the military and eAmerica strong by keeping it active.

Why eMaine? Many would ask why this state? I am a real life citizen of the state and am damn proud of it. I was born and raised as a farm boy with a good work ethic and that level headed pragmatic thinking that can make Mainers be the butt of many jokes but makes us effective leaders. Down the road from where i sit there is a statue to a personal hero Joshua L. Chamberlain. His example shows me what a person can do when the need arises and the challenges set before him. I believe that i am ready to face the challenges that awaits eMaine, the eUSA and every eCitizen with a little help and a lot of hard work.

I am looking forward to hearing from you and seeing you all on election day! Please feel free to post any comments or concerns here or mailing me!
