A Roll Of The Dice

Day 947, 04:23 Published in USA USA by Chocolate McSkittles

Story time again!

In real life, I'm a college student. Not having time during the school year to work a full time job, I basically boost my spending money by day trading options and whatnot. Sometimes it works out great, sometimes not so much. Now, I never know if a specific deal is going to work out, but I do know one thing.

You never win big unless you take risks.

Today, there is plenty of risk. As we speak, Poland is fighting a battle in Scotland, having opened up a slew of MPPs in an attempt to open a land bridge to North America.

This is a risky endeavor, and should it go wrong, Poland will find itself having wasted a lot of resources creating a war that quickly becomes a liability. However, the risk does not end there.

Poland, for the immediate future, is entering the Americas due to an arrangement to rent duplicate high resource regions from the eUS.

Having spoken with close advisors on the matter, I recognize that this is a risk. Polish/American relations have been very fluid, great some terms yet struggling others. While our current governments have built a solid relationship based on mutual respect, and I am quite ecstatic with that, bringing Poland into the western hemisphere puts us at risk should relations turn sour in a future.

This risk is dwarfed by the great benefits of embracing our allies:

- We get to embarass the UK by using them as a land bridge.

- A monthly rent of 3,000 gold. This is a substantial amount, which would increase the eUS governments revenue by ~15-20%. Secretary of Treasury Batterytime released an article discussing just what could be done with such a substantial amount of money, but just for a taste, 3,000 gold could purchase 45,000 Q1 weapons

- Ireland will also be able to rent a region, and they're pretty great, as proven by my last article and the thoroughly amusing response thus far

- Protection should we get invaded again (Poland could help block/prevent an attacking force from making attacks)

- Political goodwill. Both sides see this is a great opportunity for us to make amends and prove our goodwill and determination to maintain a positive relationship.

- Economic benefit to both nations in the form cross border trade, specialization, and pro-trade government policy

- Cheap export licenses and low wage labor for American companies in rented regions

- We get to embarrass the UK by using them as a land bridge.

- Strategic maneuverability for Poland our joined fight against Phoenix.

- Did I mention that we get to embarrass the UK by using them as a land bridge? This is clearly the best reason for following through with this plan.

Proper battle attire for the situation

I cannot emphasize this enough: The success of this mission is relevant to American interests.

In my next article, should it be necessary, I will write about the specific details of the contract, especially the inherent safeguards designed to protect American interests.

America, opportunity stands waiting at Scotland's doorstep. We have stood ready far too long waiting for long, lets make history.

I encourage all civilian Americans to make history. Move to Poland and to blaze a pathway to a greater future.

We stand by you Poland, lets do this.
